Looking forward to a great series. Should be much more exciting than the regular season as Dundas looks to finally have its full lineup, healthy and with no suspensions.
They rolled 3 lines vs Thorold and had a capable 4th line to spell off when required.
Add in a defence core that is stronger than its been all year with the addition last night of MacMillan. Yes it's the same Jeff MacMillan that played on the Allan Cup championship team.
Stoney Creek did not lose a game at home all year. They are solid up front with likely the most explosive offence in the ACH. Weakness is on the back end for sure. Goaltending is very good, although the edge goes to Mole of Dundas. Yes he played a few games in the Creek where the McCoys gave up large numbers of goals, but they were very short staffed. As usual he has been the star of all 3 playoff games thus far, especially last night with 52 saves. I'll go on record, the McCoys will not give up double digits with this lineup in the playoffs. It's a whole new season!
Can't wait for game one.
On that note - anyone have an idea of the schedule. Or at least the games/locations for this weekend?

Should add my prediction. Big upset (if you use the regular season as the measuring tool): Dundas in 6 games. McCoys win all 3 of their home games and steal one win in the Creek.

Well I'm not very impressed, there are 4 games scheduled in the last 5 days and we leave an extra day, this would put the 1st place team at a disadvantage heading into the finals something I noted a while back. It seems Stoney Creek aren't too worried as a matter of fact their GM didn't think it would go 7 so it may be much ado about nothing. They didn't lose a home game all year and we ended up it 5th place. We'll just play the games and see how it ends up. Cheers Don Robertson

Don, where was the breakdown in scheduling? Was it ice availability here or in Stoney Creek? I would have thought there would have been 2 games last weekend. Thought maybe Dundas could get in a Friday game, then two in a row in the Creek? Or at least a Sunday game in Dundas. Now, yes, as Jim says, very compressed.

We only had Friday night and they ended up in 1st place and opened at home, their choice, our building is very busy. Jr C team played Sunday night 3 rep teams still in play downs.
