8-2 final score.
Bentley gains an edge, on IDC, on the tie breaking goal differential formula...should tomorrow game end in a tie.

Has Svedin played that bad or is it team defense?

Disappointing showing yet again by the MLH rep out of Ontario when the Allan is held outside Ontario. Or...do they have a little bit of magic like the Thunder Bay Bombers of years past in them???

Has Svedin played that bad or is it team defense? Svedin is a svieve. The Lieutenants are a very young team & it's evident all over the rink. They'll have some work to do now. The next drop of reserves will help...but...they could end up playing an excellent team in the quarters and they're not ready for it, IMO.

Going by the excellent audio broadcast, it sounded like the first 2 periods was good.. Then the 3rd happened. SC was in full retreat mode against the attacking Army. Thus, the subsequent surrender.

Not picking on anyone in specific but since 2009 the MLH teams have really struggled unless they have been the host. Not good to see. I know there is likely reasons but the bottom line is it is becoming a trend.

I know there is likely reasons but the bottom line is it is becoming a trend. I'm reserving judgement until we see what solutions they come up with on Thursday. Stony Creek isn't totally buried quite yet. Consider: They have a day off tomorrow & important players coming in, too. I think...Lieutenants absolutely need to have a serious improvement in goaltending. This...and a few ringers dropped into the line up can suddenly make them dangerous.

Read O'Marra comes in for elimination games. Noted Bibic is at World Championships playing for Serbia. Also mentioned Morrison won't be available.
Not sure on Donati twin's status.

Jing Jang - could be the AP factor. Easy to get guys from all over the province. Ontario teams tend to draw from a larger area when hosting but with league commitments teams are restricted to closer areas.
All other teams have goalies with significant pro experience - no team in Ontario does besides Mole in Dundas. It makes a big difference.
It's always easier to get a commitment for a week or two than a full season. Even Dundas had tons of guys with significant NHL/AHL experience but we're an older team - even that was barely enough vs other teams with younger lower level pro talent.
Looks like Grand Falls and SEPT appear to be the front runners. Tough matchup for Stoney Creek.

Don't mean to bag on Leggatt (as I have in the past and had to eat crow) but why would the Creek want him? He hasn't played a competitive game for what...2 months?
