I think GFW is the best team here.
Especially with SEPT playing back<>back.

Very tough playoff schedule for SEPT beginning with last night's game. Needed to grab the bye when they had the chance.

1-1 after 40.
Circelli might be nicked up. He didn't finish his last shift of the period.

Semi-Finals are 2/2 on penalty shots. Busseys' game tying goal coming on an awarded shot.

I THOUGHT THE REFFING WAS HORRIBLY ONE SIDED IN A FEW ROUND ROBIN GAMES I ATTENDED. WAS IT HOME TEAM REFFING TONIGHT?

The marbles are rolling in mysterious directions.
GFW was wickedly squeezed tonight.

Just didn't seem like a fair fight from the get-go. Even though GFW as already qualified as the NL representative for 2017, I highly doubt you will see them at this event next year, especially after tonight.

It's probably good they won't be back. Didn't hear much good about them this week anyway. Not sure what bussey has up his ass either ......

That semifinal was an embarrassing event where the officiating spearheaded the charge to ensure the local team was in the final and assist in ticket sales. GFW were clearly the better team but were force to skate the event in disadvantage because the refs were so terribly lopsided. Missed penalties, blatant offsides, constant infractions that were imagined......hockey Canada should be reviewing this situation or the Allen Cup will slowly fade way. No one will travel the distance those boys did to get the undeserved shaft job they received. I wouldn't blame GFW, current qualifiers for 2017, for declining the invitation....that was sad!!

The refs are not local, so give it up. The penalty shot call against south east was just as bad as everything else.

Peter P, you appear to be the only soul on this board not in agreement with the piss poor officiating so perhaps you should be the one to shut your cake hole!!

I'm in total agreement that the officiating has been terrible. It's just total bullshit that people on here are making it sound like the local squad is picking their refs and it's helping them win. The officiating hasn't been good for anyone.
