Wade...are those AP's big names, or just roster fillers for other guys who couldn't play for whatever reason?

Wade...are those AP's big names, or just roster fillers for other guys who couldn't play for whatever reason? I'd say neither of these teams have any "roster fillers". If a player is signed by one of MB's SR AAA teams, he's almost always a SR AAA calibre player. I've been critical of Manitobas' understanding & enforcement of rules & regulations but never anything less than extremley impressed with the quality of players they sign & the mileage they get from everyone.

SEPT game sheet:
Steve Christie, Matt Lowry, Dylan Kelly, Blake Forsyth Tim Plett , Matt Gingera & Reid Gow (AP's)
Travis Bobbee, Steve Makway, Riley Dudar, Brett Chartier, Dylan Heidi, Blair Macaulay, Mike Rey. (SEPT)

IDC:
Brad Reichardt, Jordan Mirwaldt, Matt Changon, Darren Bestland, Ryan Pearson, Jared Morris, Ryan Kindret, Issac Friesen, Aaron Lewadniuk,Yvan Patton, Tanner Waldvogel, Jory Coates, Curtis Menzul, Caleb Suderman.
Seven AP's in there...Lewadniuk prolly the most notable of them.

OK...a follow-up...since neither of these teams plays in a league, or even has a schedule for the reg. season, what is the actual difference between a rostered player and an AP? They all play the same amount of games, and are part of nothing more than a tournament team....
I get what the rules say, but you see what I am getting at? they are all pretty much AP's...

I'd say there is a huge difference between roster players & affiliate players. Roster players have not been able to play any games since no later than January 25th (the deadline for a player to be released from a roster). Of course, in most instances SEPT & IDC's roster players were not sighed by anyone else at any point this season. Affiliate Players have been and continue to be playing for a roster team. They're excellent players, sharpened from regular duty. I'm not commenting on whether or not it's ethical or fair or anything like that. Just sayin, to me, that's the difference.

I didn't consider that..thanks...that was what i was looking for
have most/all of the AP's under discussion been actively playing elsewhere?
so that is the real advantage...being able to card players active in other, non AAA leagues.....
