Heard an interview with Reid Wilkins. He was discussing the suspension with the league president of Alberta. A number of things contributed to the lengthy number. head contact, defenceless player, could have avoided him, instead changed direction to hit him. Also repeat offender and he was taunting the bench after the hit. What a crock of BS, that is. The League President just described every other blindside hit, ever. And then decides this one is worth triple the punishment.

HEY...I JUST HURT YOUR MAIN GUY, WHAT THE HELL, DOES ANYONE ELSE WANT FIGHT AND TO BE HURT SOME TOO? NICE GESTURE ON HIS PART THOUGH! HEY WADE,,,ANY WORD ON SMYTH YET? I'd probably be the last person to be getting any info on 94 at this point. There has been speculation he will play this weekend...but...that's just guesswork. I saw Sheen gesture as he left the ice. It was several minutes after the incident & it wasn't a gesture as much as it was a response to the jawing coming from Stony bench. I thought nothing of it at the time, mainly because I was much more worried about 94's condition. The Gens' told me a week before the ruling came down that they would accept the ruling & move on & even though the suspension must be much more than what they expected...As far as I know, they're going to take the medicine & try to move forward by focusing on the singular goal they've got in front of them...The Allan Cup. This hit has pissed some people off and caused quite a stir...but...the most important thing is to decide an Alberta Champion (I say this on the assumption 94's feeling just fine, as his health is certainly a challenge a concern, too). I've only seen one game since "The Hit". The Army did a good job baring their fangs & continuing to play physical but disciplined in a dominating Game 2 win. Since then? I've been away at work. And nobody on either side of this series is willing to say anything about it, really. They've all gone to radio silence...which in my experience...is an indication we are in for an extremely intense weekend.

I was at the game and Sheen was indeed blowing kisses and taunting the bench. This was brought up by the league president and myself and the others in my section behind the Lacombe bench saw this happen.

I remember watching miller in Brandon and with the dauphin kings in the MJHL after both him and sinatinski both got let go by the wheatties. Where did miller go and play after his junior days ? I figured he would have at least carved a career in the AHL or been a high end player in the ECHL? Now back at home in Edmonton ?

I'm not even sure if he's an "AP" this year...or...maybe Stonyburgh has had him full time. Doesn't really matter, I guess.

He played in Europe for a year, then last two in Morinville senior AA and this year full time on Stony.
