Heading into Week 5, we've got a handful of games on the go, with some great matchups. Taking a quick peek at the standings, we see Rosetown is still undefeated in regulation, with a 5-0-1 record, while Stony Plain trails behind with a 4-1 record, good for 8 points. Rounding out the top three are the perennial champions, the Lacombe Generals, playing only 4 games but going undefeated in regulation with a 3-0-1 record.
On Friday, the Eagles look to hand another loss to the hometown Generals, in a rematch of last seasons Alberta Championship Playoffs.
Fort Sask travels down to Innisfail to try and wipe the 0 off the wins column and get redemption on a shootout loss to the red Eagles.
Saturday has all the makings of some intense playoff hockey, as highway rivals, the Innisfail Eagles travel to Lacombe to take on the Generals. These two have bad blood stemming back from some brawls last season and face each other for just the second time this season.
The Red Wings will make the trek back to Alberta for the second weekend in a row and take on a very good Stony Plain team that handed them their first loss of the season just days prior.
Heading into Sunday, we've got Rosetown again in Fort Sask looking to continue the roll they've been on and hand another loss down to the Chiefs.
