Any word on if the North East Senior Hockey League is playing this year?
They were looking for new teams on their website and all the website now says is "Thank You".

I will try to find out today but that thank you does not look very promising All the teams have now been confirmed with the exception of Newfoundland where the branch registered a spot in case there is a league and in case the team wants to challenge New Brunswick for the Atlantic spot

I heard that's basically all she wrote for the North East Senior Hockey League. It's really a shame.
Haut-Madawaska plays in the Regional Hockey League in North-Western New Brunswick. It features eight teams and is one of only two competitive senior hockey leagues left in the province.

Just got word from Elsipogtog that there is no league Just read an article in the Acadie-Nouvelle where the league will make a decision on Thursday, Sep. 20. The league is down to three teams, Elsipogtog, Memramcook and Bouctouche and they are hoping to add a fourth team. There is a fourth team who has showed some interest in joining the league, but they are still working some things out. It seems like a long shot, but the league isn't done yet.

Haut-Madawaska won the Circuit Régional de Hockey regular season with a 21-5-2 record, finishing two points ahead of St-Jacques. Haut-Madawaska takes on Témiscouata (6-18-2-2), who finished last in the eight-team league. Not much difference in that league between the top four teams so they should have a good team heading into the Allan Cup this year. League website
