I know you don't care, that's why it took a whole 7 minutes to respond!! Your point? You seem more concerned with a fight, which there was not. Than the game. Calm down.

A touch too much emotion today for Bentley. The atmosphere and the history between these teams might have played into that.
Whatever the reason...the Gens really didn't help themselves with some of the PIMS they took and there were other examples of red line intensity when simple plays were twisted into turnovers.
However...the shot clock tells a critical detail. The Gens were the better team 5-5.
With that said....HL is every bit as good as I expected them to be. Kip Noble had a tremendous game...Shantz really shined with his PP time and Weslosky was also excellent.
It was a lot of fun.
Horse Lake has a strong following down here. I'd ballpark them about 100 strong the sell out crowd of 650-ish.
The Generals can play (and will) be much better defensivley going forward.

Jeff and Wade, you're both too funny for words. Don't twist an ankle if you decide to come off that horse!

lol oh the good ole bentley shot counter...counting in multiples of 3 again??? Actually, our normal clock guy is not there. He doesn't count it to his discretion. I'm in the box, as are 4 others. If we see one, we count it out. And me being the youngest of everyone in there and with the best 20/20 vision, and also being the tallest I can see more than the rest and will call out "shot" or "no shot". They were all legit and accounted for properly.

A couple of FSJ die hards trying to live vicariously through Horse Lake for the sake of hating on a rival which has ended 5 of their last 6 seasons. Sad but true. I don't think the shot clock is even an issue at this point. There were some comments made during the 2009 playoffs, initiated by Stony Plain. I said at the time the counts were very close to bang on and by the end of that season...it was 100% evident to anyone the Generals were as good as the shot clock said they were. Nobody has said much since then. In fact...if you ladies really feel the need to hash it out...go back and check the pointstreak.com box scoring from past Allan Cups. You will find even "neutral" shot counters recording high volumes of shots taken by Bentley. It is aboslutley NOT an exaggeration. On the contrary, the people who whine about it tend to be guilty of over-rating some of their own teams. But thats by no means a slag against these Horse Lake Chiefs. They did give up a lot of SOG's...but...the game was wide open & they had plenty of great chances of their own.

I personally don't have any problem with Wade or his comments. I see him posting on other boards, and although I don't agree with everything he says, it's obvious he is passionate about senior hockey and his generals. I'm not a generals fan, but also a fan of senior hockey, and I say keep posting Wade!

Does that mean the big rink that the Rebels play in?

Does that mean the big rink that the Rebels play in? Nope. Red Deer Arena is 2 blocks east of Red Deer Lodge, right beside the Red Deer Curling rink.
