Last Tuesday the coach and ac got the axe. But heard they are back as someone forgot about who would run the bench going forward, with know one signed it leaves them back peddling. Now word is laberge is stepping down or staniforth won't come back? Any who, looks to me like they can't organize a 2 house paper route. All 3 should have never been involved this year in the first place. All they have done is pissed everyone off so bad on the team and in the community that it sounds like there won't be a kings team next year. When u dress only 2 players from last years roster in games 2 & 3 vs. Rose town , you are bound to lose. What ever chance the kings had at winning the cup this year is either gone or its gonna be a miracle for them to pull it together now with only practices to bring them together run from a couple of junior b coaches.

I think it is the other way around. Laberge pissed off everyone in the commmunity when he fired the two coaches. Who do you suggest to coach, Kurtis Wandler? I don't see too many people jumping on board to coach senior hockey. As for only 2 players from last year's team playing, who do suggest putting in? I seen one game and thought they had the best team they could. Ya they have to work on a few things but they should be alright. Just like every team coming to LLoyd in April they are only 3 wins away from winning it.

Is this the best people have to talk about. The Allan Cup is less than one month away. And my Bisons are up 2 game to 1 on the Redwings. Go Bisons.

Bisonfan,Just wondering if Logan Herauf played for Balgonie in game 3.
If he did shit should hit the fan, because he was playing for Minot state university after the January 10th transfer deadline.

I think Stainforth and his squad will shake off the shake up.
Things have gotten a little heated under the strain of a host year. It sounds like some of the key off ice duties have been mis-delegated at times and I can understand why people get pissed off when you start shelling out big $$$ for fines et al.
LBK has no reason to panic. They're still going to be in their home town rink with a great chance to be champions in a couple weeks.
Will they be rusty? Maybe for the first game....but...they will also be healthy and still having played a lot more quality games/opponents than any other team in their pool come puck drop.

Logan played a regular season game with the Bisons in December but went to Minot in January and hasn't played with the Bisons since.

wade - how do you figure that Lloyd will have played more quality games/opponents than the other teams in their group?
Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the Ontario representative in Lloyd's division?
You can't get much better competition/quality of games than in the Ontario AAA league. They play a 28 game schedule with teams that are very skilled.
You may have a tainted opinion as each year it seems that Dundas has a short bench ... believe me it is not indicitive of the talent level in Ontario.
Just wait until this year's Allan Cup. Either Whitby or Dundas will be one of the best teams in the tourny. Word is that Dundas will have a full team if they go through.

The Chinook League is the deeper & more talented league. Beyond that...its semantics...really. What matters is LBK played over 30 games this year....almost all of them against very good opposition. Would they have liked to play longer, winning their way into their own tournament? Sure. Is the MLH a close comparison to the CHL? Absolutley. The layoff isn't ideal for the Kings but its nowhere close to as devestating as some make it out to be either.

staniforth and young don't know how to coach a AAA team. first off jody lehman can't stop a beach ball so why is he dressed? that's right he's stanifoth's buddy. second of all having aaron foster on your top line is nothing but stupidity, he is at most a forth line player this year. first shift he puts clayton with better players and they score right away then goes right back to foster with him and nothing. as for scott hood he shouldn't even be on the roster, this is a waste of a roster spot. this is AAA your r here to win not to please ppl. this may have worked in junior b, but this ain't junior b

Im pretty sure he has proven beyond the shadow of a doubt he belongs on a 'SR AAA' roster.

In 21 games he was 14G and 14A for 28 points. Clayton was 1 point behind at 21 games 7 goals 20 assists for 27 points and was #3 on the depth chart. Not sure how you measure players but feel free to let me know which of these players you think is not worthy and I will speak to SLA management and releave you of the terrible burden of having Foster in your line up and by the way as a bonus for you, I'll see if they won't take that good for nothing Scott Hood at the same time. Don't want to see you suffer with such under-performing players
