Law did not show up for any games, but they flew in Terry Yake in for games 4 and 5.

Thanks, thunderfan.
SEPT must have things back together again. It didn't look too good for them in FSJ when the roster never grew to full capacity all week long. There was a rumour it would be the last sounds we heard from the Thunder.
Clearly they still have some storm left in them.

I would expect SEPT to be a force in this years tourney. Reason be i know one player from the team who mentioned they have almost everyone back from last year and alot more. This year they supposedly have a big upgrade between the pipes. As well Kenora is very close to home so they wont be facing the logistics issues they had last year when travelling to fort st. John since kenora is only about 3 hours away from the Winnipeg / Steinbach area which they are based.

If the Allan Cup being so close to home is a good reason for SEPT to be strong (again) this year...why is it NOT the same for Iles Des Chenes?
I would have thought Kirby Law would make an appearance. It could have been a very different outcome of he played for the North Stars in Manitoba Provincials.

First, one player will not win you a best of seven series. Second of all, no disrespect to the north stars, but they ticked alot of people in the province off in 2009 when they hosted the tournament and they have struggled since. For some reason that team has trouble attracting top notch players unless they buy them.
