Schedule and game times have not been released. Dont see how you can stagger games as both Hamilton and Dundas will want to play their games in prime time
Add an extra night to the round robin and have the ACH qualifier play the host team the night before and have that be the only game on day one, have the host team that played night one be off on day two so the other host has the feature game and the other game would be the ACH qualifier vs the other team in the bracket, have the host team that played on night one play on night three with the second host being off and the two qualifiers playing in the other bracket (or only being one game with there being two games on night four) and then the host team from night two play night four.
This should make it so that the three traveling teams would not have to pay for an extra night to stay at a hotel.
I am making the trip from NL, even without a team from here, I would like to know which rink the championship will be played in ? for hotel purposes, will miss half the games if in another rink,
That's a question no one seems to have an answer to.
See you then at the Allan Cup. I'll be the Blast fan there with the cowbell
Why would they be assuming that Blast will be at the Cup
Also they are selling ticket packages to all 11 games so they would have to be staggered enough to give You at mininum 30 minutes to get out of one game into your car , 20 min drive to one rink and the walk from parking to your seat for second game 6 and 9 would be more likely
jimc: that is a BROKEN system, right there

doc: Going back to a thread of Don Robertson & Doug Mathieson from December relating to the number of teams that were already confirmed for this series. I see how bad the optics are, I find it very difficult doing Google searches to see what teams there are.

doc: They need to get someone to amalgamate the website to be all inclusive. Some years a city or town has a team, the next year they aren't for whatever reason. Also how does a Province take guys from defeated teams and then build an all star group.

doc: It doesn't happen in Ontario, although I am surprised to see Brett Leggat's name on the boxscore last night for Stoney Creek.

enogca: Saw that too. Looks like he was playing backup goalie to Brown.

dsvein: Blatant missed call on Stony Creek´s 5th goal. Watched it 3 times and the goal scorer was a good foot offside. Surprised Lacombe Generals didn´t protest but it probably would have fallen on deaf ears. If you have it recorded, check it out. It was obvious.

doc: Entertaining game from start to finish, even if you didn't have a favorite team playing in the final. There were fouls on both sides during the game that were not called, that's always been the nature of hockey and always will.
