Travis Kornelsen has accumulated quite a load of AC games going back to 2009.

Heard Leblanc doesn't have a lot of interest in hockey anymore. Too bad. Was fun to watch in Lloyd. Sept will be a great team to watch. Speed could be only factor with them. Good luck to all!!

Leblanc is playing for the Carberry Plainsmen in the Tiger Hills League. Heard he may be on IDC North stars roster.

Newcomers Pattyn and Saurette should prove to be very solid additions. Pattyn was captain last year of the UND team that advanced to the NCAA frozen four while Saurette brings loads of experience from university, minor pro and Europe. Really improves the forward depth for S.E.P.T.

Safe to assume about half SEPT team is playing in the "AA"'leagues out there.
Nobody could beat them in Clarenville when they had to run fly-to-the-ice service throughout the week.
Not hard to peg them as a favorite this time around.

Maybe Leblanc is not interested because of 2 years ago when the thunder returned from dundas he was no longer eligible to play provincials for Altona , but then last year STEVEN CRAMPTON played games in clarenville during the week for southeast before returning to Manitoba and playing in the semi final and final for beasejour.

He was always eligible to play. However I think the big issue that most guys have is this.... Allan cup qualifying always seems to be played at the same time the good teams (teams with high caliber players) are still playing in there own league playoffs. Tough to leave a team you committed to all winter for a short playoff with a team you have not invested anytime in. Carded players are always eligible to play with there own team wether Allan cup is on or not. Just my opinion anyways. A lot of hockey for guys with regular jobs and families etc......

Well Mark that's not the way I heard it. So what your saying is Leblanc Dittmer Fuher and Hamilton were all eligible to play for the provincial championship with their club team and none of them bothered to show up. and wade there is no AA league in mb

Well, You heard it wrong.
All the names you listed were in Dundas the same weekend that provincials were played. Some of the guys actually changed their Sunday flight (after they lost out) on Saturday and actually played Sunday in the finals. However some guys wanted to stay in Dundas for an extra night ie. LeBlanc. Hamilton. Butland. Etc.

Leblanc, Butland, Fuher, Hamilton, Ditmer and Dyck all couldn't play because Hockey Manitoba made a exception because they were all away at Dundas and let Altona pick up 5 players instead of the usual 3 for provincials every team gets chance to do. Needless to say the players picked up weren't of same talent level of those missing (Andrew Froese,Brendan Heppner, Mark Hildrbrand, Jamie Janzen, Brett Suderman), they still barely lost in the final to the Deloraine Royals and did out play them and outshoot them even while missing the tie top players. Why hockey Manitoba plans this tournament at same time as Allan cup every year is rather puzzling. If those players would have been there it would have been a repeat for Atona and 3 for 3 provincial championships for the SEMHL without a doubt best and deepest senior league in Manitoba.
