Tommorow night the Brantford Blast will retire Tyler Pelton's Jersey number 5. It's the first Blast Jersey to be retired, Pelton Played from 02-12 for the blast and captained the team for the last 9 of those years. He's the all time leader in points goals and assists and captained the team to the 2008 Allan Cup Win.

Congratulations, Pelts'.
The Captain of the 2008 AC Champ' was a loyal & considerate SR AAA player/person for many years and very deserving of this level of recognition.

Nice to see Pelton again last night at the game and have his jersey retired. A few of us gave him a standing ovation. In my opinion, this honour should have been the only pregame ceremony at the game last night. Pelton's was first then a cheque was presented by Tim Hortons to a local charity organization. But what I did like was Grandits from Hamilton shaking Pelton's hand.

looks like Wayne Muir will have his number 24 retired next for the blast based on comments by Blast owner Peter Ham. I'm assuming sometime next season.
