Is Sawyer eligible to play? He got a 6 game suspension after game 4 of the ACH finals.

You can pretty much guarantee that you'll see MOLE or LEGGAT added to this roster. BUT, only if Sveden faulters. Sveden has certainly played his way to the Allan Cup and deserves to be the 'goto' guy in Manitoba.

he got 6 games for a fight?
shame on the ACH/OHA
He might be in trouble...OHA have reciprocal agreements to honour suspensions with CHA/HC

I believe Sawyers suspension has something to do with it being his 3rd instigator for fighting this year.

In Game 4 against Brantford he was accessed an instigator penalty (INS36) and an aggressor penalty (AGG37). Both of these penalties fall under Hockey Canada rule 6.7(b) on the OHF suspension list it states a first offence is 1 game, 2 offence is 2 an additional 2 games and a 3rd offence is 4 games. because he got 2 at once means he was issued a 2 game plus a 4 game suspension for a total of 6 games.

SOUNDS LIKE SAWYER IS BEING HEAVILY PENALIZED FOR GIVING OUT NEEDED BEATINGS. I WOULD LIKE TO SEE HIM IN STEINBACH THAT SAID.. IS HE EVEN A TOP 4 DEFENCE MAN? A MAJOR PIECE OF THE PUZZLE? OR WILL THEY BE OK WITHOUT HIM? ONLY ASKING BECAUSE STATS ARE EASY TO FIND (OR LACK OF!) BUT DONT ALWAYS TELL THE WHOLE STORY.

He is a very good player...stood out to me as one of their best d men...at least in his own zone...moves the puck and skates well, too.
really stupid to get penalized games for instigating AND an aggressor penalty...it is the same thing. The sissification of the Sr AAA game has gone to ridiculous lengths.

Sveden has certainly played his way to the Allan Cup and deserves to be the 'goto' guy in Manitoba. Unless Leggat has fully recovered from his injury, you won't see him. Sure, he dressed and did warmup at game 5 but he didn't play.

Sawyer was a policeman and not much more. He would have helped but won't be sorely missed. The SC Generals will go as far as Blanchard takes them. Likely the best D man in the Ontario loop.

I disagree on Sawyer...he is more than just an enforcer...especially because those types of players are pretty much useless in the game that Sr AAA hockey has now become. He can move the puck, and his legs, very well for a big man. I also think Bibic is as important to their success as any o their Dmen.

Online scoring shows full roster for SC. Any notable absences and is the 3rd goalie Wyse actually starting?
Agreed on Blanchard as a top SC dman. Right up there with Burgoyne, Mangos and Caister among tops in the league.
SC's depth will help later in the week although if other team's aren't fully stoked yet until later in the week it's a moot point.
