There was an Allan Cup playoff series between Elsipogtog and Restigouche Nord just before Xmas (Elsipogtog won), they went on to play last years league champion Lameque Au Petit Mouse in a playoff series to determine the other representative for New Brunswick at the Allan Cup. This took place last weekend and Lameque won that series declaring both Lameque and Bouctouche as the two representatives for Allan Cup from New Brunswick.

Interesting these series' were played so early in the season.
I've often wondered why more branches don't do something similar.

Heard the host is looking at adding JS Gigeure and Vinny Lecavalier. Interesting rumour.

This was obviously done to increase the available affiates
Since the playoff was done beforethe deadline you now only have two teams after affilatess. The player draft is now done between Boutouche and Lamesque instead of all 4 teams.

I apologize that I was unaware of this playoff series going on as I track and post all series involving Allan Cup qualifying and had no idea that this series was happening Will post the scores as soon as I have them

It's tricky cause the way it shows on the league website, the Restigouche Nord and Elsipogtog "series" also counted for the regular season?? Was December 16-17th weekend and Elsipogtog won the series 2-0, Restigouche scored 1 goal in two games (how are they considered AAA??) Then last weekend it looks like the first game between Lameque and Elsipogtog counted for the regular season but the second game.
This league is a mess and I would honestly be surprised if it continues next season.

Best of 3, but the Lameque series had all 3 games scheduled to be at their rink as they were the reigning league champions. Elsipogtog was the "home team" in game 2 however.
