5-2 BENTLEY AFTER 2. HERES MEY TAKE. GOING TONIGHT WITH MY KENORA TEAM OUT I REALLY COULD CARE WHO WON BUT WENT TO SEE A GOOD GAME OF HOCKEY. I LEFT AFTER 2 PERIODS OF THE SHITTY REFEREE SHOW. I NEVER LEAVE A GAME BUT WAS SICKENED BY IT. FORT WAS THE UNDERDOG GOING IN(PLAYED HARD LAST NIGHT TO GET THERE) AND THE LOW GRADE REF FOR THIS ONE DECIDED HE WOULD TAKE THEM OUT HIMSELF. REALLY REALLY POOR REFFING. AT THIS LEVEL OF HOCKEY TEAMS WORK HARD TO BE THERE AND WHOEVER DECIDES WHERE TO GET REFS SHOULDNT CHEAP OUT ON ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT PARTS OF THE TOURNY. GET GOOD ONES WHOEVER HAS THE NEXT CUPS! ALSO WHAT WAS WITH #15 FOR BENTLEY SPEARING IN THE PREGAME SKATE AND NOT BEING BOOTED? ? WHO DECIDES THIS? ?

Hi Kenora, No refs on the ice? It appeared Bently's #15 and 55 were involved with Fort's # 13 and 18 in the warm up. The 4 of them should have been booted. I guess it's ruled on different each time according to the off ice official who happened to be standing right there.
Poor planning as the linesmen should have been on the ice. Somebody could of got hurt. I bet they have the linesmen on the ice today.
Although I don't anticipate any problems today as there is to much at stake.

Somebody could of got hurt. I bet they have the linesmen on the ice today. Yesterday was kinda' a big game as well. I would think with all the terrible calls that went on DURING the game last night, were fotunate this REF was NOT around during warm-up. Gawd only knows what he would have dreamed up. I figure Fort Frances came out of it rather nicely. They were able to play 12 minutes of hockey w/o having to worry about the top scorer in the tournament. Thats normally what you call a 'gift horse'. But...ya...it was silly to have 2 teams with zero prior history worrying about each other during warm-ups and I 100% garuntee there won't be anything but everyday buisiness happening this afternoon. Rumor is...its the same kid calling the final. Hopefully he sucked all the obviously highly addictive paint chips off his whistle last night. So, can we just settle this Allan Cup on big boy terms today, eh??? Although I don't anticipate any problems today as there is to much at stake.
