CONGRATULATIONS CARIBOUS!!!
I hope the telecast reflected what I saw. The bous (if I may) were a nice team to watch and a great Cinderella story that was fun to jump aboard onto. This was a close hard fought game, but there should be no doubt, the CARIBOUS fully earned their victory. They took a few penalties which they had to chance along with their termination against a more experienced foe. But they much more than survived. They were the best team. While their goalie Jason Churchill was excellent and was named best in the tournament, it would be way off base to suggest the tender beat the other team alone. It was an all round team accomplishment to be sure, and when things looked like perhaps it just might not happen, they showed how much they wanted it and deserved it, with great discipline in the final period.
Thanks Caribous for allowing me to jump on board. Cherish your well earned victory!!!!!!

Congrats to NL it's been 25 years and this year they worked hard and get full marks for the win . 25 years ago when Conerbrook won, they beat the Nelson Maple Leafs in BC for the Cup. The team they beat in the Semi finals that year was the Brantford Motts Clamatos who where coached by Ken Mann had me as the GM same thing this year in the semi's but Mann and I are now in Dundas. Well done boys enejoy it.
Regards Don Robertson

Great work Clarenville! the passion, hardwork and persistence showed when it mattered most. I think last year was a great learning experience for the bous, as they saw what it takes to be successful in this tournament. Congratulations and hope to see you guys back in the years to come!

Yes congrats to the Carabous, sounds like they rode Mr churchill from the start to the finish. He received a pile of shots throughout the tourny.
I'll bet their still partying:)
The TSN game was good...when the camera was behind the glass!! The net did interfere a bit, but get used to it i guess, like Snoopy says...its the same insurance engine that is running our lives.
Hope to see the Bous back next year in Saskachewan.

Great job Caribous!!! What a turnaround from last year, and to beat Bentley in the final is so sweet, nice to see them knocked off the pedestal that they all think they are standing on! Good on ya boys.

and yet another east coast team prevails to win the top trophy for their level of play. Congrats to the Saint Johns Sea Dogs who beat the host team by a 2-1 score.
Now only if Newfoundland had an NHL team!!!

The GrandFalls-Windsor Cataracts will soon decide if they want to go to Allan Cup this year since they won it all in NL last season.
