Breaking news according to the schedule posted today on the Whitby Dunlops Facebook page the Thorold Athletics have dropped out of the league for this year.

Thorold is no loss...they were awful and created an unnecessary glut of teams too close together.

Looks more to me like you have a pack of three with Whitby and Thorold on the outside Thorold also finished ahead of Dundas Brantford and Hamilton in the standings last season Will be interesting were there top players end up

Thorold is no loss...they were awful and created an unnecessary glut of teams too close together. What you just described is Hamilton to a T. Thorold at least had a decent season last year finishing third in the league unlike the steelhawks who have 8 wins in the last 2 seasons combined and sit directly between Stoney Creek and Dundas Geographically.

you could get rid of either team, for sure...merge them, and you have one really solid franchise
