That AC champ team in 2014 (??) was one of the better AAA teams I have Seen...and absolutely, the depth, 4 lines and 6 D Who could play, a a huge factor...and they were much different than the squad that lost rather meekly to BFD

They dont have a guy like Jooris who gets 5 points a game, maybe those were the days ypu were speaking about Don And yes i mispoke i meant Norwood and you missed my point , i wasnt talking about the scoreboard , speaking about the excitement those players brought

Offseason thoughts and recap:
- Not a fan of the draft of Thorold's players. Past practice indicates that the players should be free agents for the season and remain property of Thorold for the 1 year hiatus. You can't force players to play for any team.
- Not a fan of the 17 player roster limit. This penalizes team's who get good turnouts and good players who won't remain in the lineup regularly will be spread amongst other teams and as a result Ontario teams competing outside of league play will not be prepared to play other teams with full rosters. The other negative scenario is the phantom signings that some teams do. 28 player cards and only 17 roster spots per game will lead to numerous flyer's made for impact but uncommitted players.
- Stoney Creek with some great signings again. It'll be interesting whether they have most of last year's key players back. - Brantford with great signings up front with 9 forward lineups it'll be scary with former NHLers Prpic, Stephens and Williams plus newcomers Pitton, Clarkson, McIlveen and returnees Medeiros, Sault and Rebernik. They have a ton of size up front but need to upgrade their defence. - Hamilton has signed some good young talent. - Dundas/Whitby doesn't have much known about new recruits yet.

that is my chief concern with 17 man roster...your glue guys who get bumped whenever stars decide to show up, will look to play elsewhere.
