It is disappointing enough there is no live game video broadcast as continues to be advertised. As well. it was announced by the audio broadcast team video of games would be available later evening or following day. This as well has not materialized. Furthermore, the audio broadcasts have been well below acceptable standard. The broadcast announcers are certainly not hockey savy and obviously not suitable for the task of play by play call. Considering this is a National Championship event, The Allan Cup committee has failed to deliver a caliber acceptable media broadcast. It would be nice to have someone provide feedback on this aspect of the tournament delivery.

I'm in Ontario and haven't been able to travel these past few years to see the games live. I'm also disappointed in this year's coverage. It's not up to recent standards. Would have liked to hear George Scott calling the games again this year.I really enjoyed his work over the last three tournaments. I thought he was really well informed about senior hockey and called a great game. Even when it was just audio like in Clarenville and Steinbach he painted a picture and made it easy to follow. Was he not available this year?

Was he not available this year? George is from Newfoundland and Labrador, so it would have been costly to bring him in to do these games. The Herder Memorial Trophy playoffs got underway last weekend and he's calling the games there. Otherwise, I'm sure he would have loved to do it. He did a fantastic job last year in Bouctouche. I watched the stream on Facebook under Saskatchewan sports. It was a periscope type video. Poor quality but better than nothing. However it was shot through a cell phone. Very disappointing that you cannot stream.
