Dont know how long they have been out but just got confirmation that Kelowna Sparta is not going to the Allan Cup with their free ticket
The Quebec spot normally goes to the Host Branch which means that Lacombe would be in as host and Stony Plain and Innisfail would also be in using Pacific and Quebec spot
The only other option is that the Quebec spot goes to Sask/Man which would eliminate the need for a inter provincial play off with Manitoba and Rosetown getting the Allan Cup Spots and Stony Plain and Innisfail having to playoff for the final spot
If the Quebec spot does go to Alberta and Rosetown beats Manitoba all four members of ACHW would be in the Cup

No surprise unfortunately, they were very quiet online this year, along with the other teams in the league that they were in last year.
They should have the ACHW champion qualify and the Manitoba champion qualify. That would seem the fairest way to do it as each team would have a 1 in 4 probability of qualifying.
This is starting to look like an East-West tournament might have potential sooner rather than later.
How about this for a national senior playoff format
BC vs AB and SK vs MB with winners meeting for Western championship (each series best-of-three in at one team)
The Atlantic provinces (provincial reps. playing in a round robin or a best-of-three (or two best-of-threes if all provinces participate) Atlantic vs Quebec vs Ontario (round robin in one location with a championship game, with the furthest traveling team off the first day).
Western vs Eastern champion best of five (2 games one weekend in one rink, remaining three in other rink following weekend).
This schedule would seem to cut down on amount of time players would need off from work. You could also change to the best of three is one region is not represented in the East and to a round robin if one province is not represented in the West.
This format would seem to be good to go for 2021 unless Manitoba is due to host the event in 2021 and can keep four teams going at the Senior AAA level for a few years.

Just realized that the only reason that the only reason Kelowna was in the Cup was that Host branch had Quebecs spot negating the need for a Mackenzie Cup playoff
With Kelowna gone this now negates the need to have a ACHW allan cup playoff between Innisfail and Stony Plain Both Stony Plain and Innisfail would have direct entry to the Allan Cup unless Hockey Canada is going to readdress who gets Quebecs spot

Lineups should be interesting with some big names potentially???
