Great games so far. Watching the Stoney game now. All tight checking games.
Yes wonder where Wade has gone. His Twitter handle is now “The Don Cherry of Timbits hockey” rather than “Senior Hockey” like he used to refer to himself. Even his tweets are only about the NHL or Politics, other than retweeting the odd Senior hockey post.
We miss your controversy on here Wade!!!!
Wonder where you’ve gone.

I thought I saw him at the Generals game tonight after all, but he didn’t tweet the game, other than liking a few posts.

I’ve been busy with work & my Sons’ hockey all winter. Last nite was my first Gens’ game in over a year, so, I’m out-of-the-loop this time around.
It was very clear, walking around the facility last nite...The Gens organization, the tournament committee along with The City of Lacombe have covered every angle and are production another gold standard tournament. Nobody else has ever come close to what this hockey club has done.
I don’t know who the other faces would be on Allan Cups’ “Rushmore”...but...The Army is the Abraham Lincoln. Second to none.

Mount Rushmore of Senior Hockey was built long before Bentley ever existed as a team!!!
This is not to take away from the success of their organization, however.

In the tournament era, Jim. I’m talking anything past 1992 til now.
The Army has almost 40 Allan Cup Tournament Wins.
If you combine ALL the tournament wins of ALL the existing SR AAA teams and maybe even add a couple recently folded franchises...you might get to 30.
It’s astounding what they’ve done and they’ve NEVER ONCE attended an Allan Cup via acclimation. They’ve won their way into 18 tournaments and they’ve got a tournament win percentage better than most teams carry in league play.
And here is the kicker...they’re not done!!!!
If there was any brains worth picking in this forum...I would run a poll...today...and ask who the FAVOURITE for Allan Cup 2020 is...right now...and the correct answer would be The Army.
But of course....there is no point in doing something like that here because we’re down to what....4...5-Ish people posting and 3 of them are still trying to figure out how the best SR AAA team Southern Ontario has ever sent on the road just got their asses handed to them by Alberta’s Official Bridesmaids of March.

Tournament era, I agree. The rest of your post is just illiterate gibberish. what happened last year to your mighty Army...or the year before? I would say the best team SC ever sent won last year...who did they beat, again?
