When I was a young kid, I was fortunate enough to see some great volunteers giving of themselves to sport. Like many kids, you appreciated those people, but you didn't really understand just what they were all about. For me, Paul Godfrey and the late Roger Neilson were two examples. It took me many years to fully appreciate just how much they "truly" loved the sport, for the good of the sport. Fortunately for me, those earlier life experiences allow me now to understand in a much quicker time span. Today there is a very nice and deserving article posted on the ACH website, tittled Ruff's Dedication..... Here's the link allancup.pointstreaksites.comthen click on League news

Your right Munzie, nice article for snoop dog...too bad his team didn't have that Love and Desire for the game! 10 goal against cant keep happening.
But i guess shit happens when you come up against a nice fresh experienced goalie like Munce and only go 1-14 on the pp.

Thanks for the kind words...but it is far from a 1 man show... without the support of my family and other who volunteer and didn't get a mention in the article..the Tundras wouldn't exist. Like I told someone else I might just be the conductor in the band..yes the Band played some sour notes last night.
Better said, I'm just a piece in the Tundras puzzle or as Pink Floyd would say just another brick in the wall. Many thanks Munzie and Curtis.

careful there curtls, it can happen to anybody. sooner or later it could be your team. Yes it could Ron...if i had a team!! That being said, it could happen to anybody is right, and it could also happen to entire league. It seems ,across the country, teams have to travel hundreds of miles to get a game in. The costs have to start becoming bigger than the game itself . Just the love of owning/operating a hockey club OR just the love of playing the game may not be enough for smaller market hockey clubs anymore. I 'm curious how a team would operate with 25 hockey players owning and operating for a season.
