Tom WHO?? munzie might be referring back to your old "crooks bay" connection with jack and the gang. youve done well, sombreros off to you, but your loose lipped rants and posting your own article...who could really take you serious...Toyota i guess:) . They wont let you win the league...no way!!! Just keep digging into your pocket until the powers to be tell you whether you'll playing in the WOAA or the ACH...

However for anyone else, who seems to have it wrong, the answer is quite simple. Curtis posted in this thread on Jan 28th (2:02 am), that in addition to the two head to head games that Orillia & Norwood have remaining, that it will come down to what either of those two teams can "steal" from Whitby or Dundas or Brantford. In that context I would suggest that the first of the two teams to "steal" a game as referred to, was Orillia over Brantford, in Brantford on Friday night by a score of 3-2. In hockey talk, to steal a game, could be to win a game you didn't deserve, or it could mean you won a game from a higher placed team, for which you fully earned the result. In this case of course, it was the latter to be sure. Orillia played to their plan, got very solid goal tending and earned their win. It's not the first time, and it won't be the last. All that being said, my reference to the "Orillia Bandits" was my way of complementing my second favorite team on a job well done. I happen to like and respect 'The Coach' (also the owner). In addition to his enthusiasm, he has a fine and decent sense of humor, seems respectful of others, and if I have ever met a more down to earth person, I'm not sure when or where. 'The Coach' also has contributed to this forum with news and items of assistance to many. He attempts to answer questions that are posed. Not all teams contribute in this way. So for me, if a relatively infrequent self promoting submission is posted by a team, only one and a half years anchored in their own home town, well I am hardly offended by it. If it was the norm, I might be. Everyone is free to make their comments of course, and anyone can agree or disagree. I'm certainly happy with the way I feel, and I make it clear that I stand a country mile apart from some of the other unflattering comment expressed. Regards to all, Munzie

Thanks for the kind words munzie.. yes, with a short bench we "STOLE" a W and got some help by your fav team.
In regards to rinkratz' comments. Firstly, Jack Dawson could walk right past me and I would have no clue he did. I would like to think that some of those Cook's Bay days are like remembering the Winnipeg Jets (WHA version) when talking about the Phoenix Coyotes.
Just a reminder that this weekend is Hockey Day across the country. Watch a game even if its just your grandkid's house league game. They will always treasure the time you give them.
