Can't understand the confusion over posting a roster. Jan 10 is cut-down date to reduce rosters to 25 or less and feb 10 is the final signing date. Add to that the new ap rule with a Jan 10 date and the total roster should be completed no later than Feb10. That would be the maximum # of players available to the team. So post the roster!

I am not sure why anyone would be embarrassed for the Regals and their fans. We have been around as an organization for fifty-six years and have had a team for fifty-four. It is well documented about all the championships that the organization has won and the number of times we have represented our country and made our community proud. Sure we have made some mistakes along the way but what team has not, re: Hose Lake, and we play by the rules of the day. Embarrassed hell no, proud you bet. Go Regals Go.

ok wade , lets give some honest perspective if your capable.....lets say for whatever reason albertas economy fails misreably and bentley ends of the only team in western canada....yet the league is doing quite well in ontario and other points east.....but travelling there is just way to expensive or its to much time off of work for your guys and no one wants to come out and play you for the same reason.....however you still have a pretty decent squad of guys with some skills and a long rich hockey history in your town and always have the ability in your opinion to challenge for the cup......so by theory would you then bring out your buggy whip to the general horse and say we just shouldnt try to keep this thing going....lets not give oursleves the chance as its just not fair to brantford..doesnt matter if the rules say we cold compete we just shouldnt do it.....its not polite.....is this in fact what wade would do?

Pretty easy to win when you pick and choose where you play AA OR AAA, ya you have some banners good for you. Senior hockey will go no where when teams that dont play a game all year win that makes all look like a joke and that how you guys treat it . Have you broke the rules no but you bend and twist them so far its a joke ,and it got worse this year cant wait to see whats up next .

Short Answer: Yes. My interest level would never grow past the point of "tadpole" if I was in the pool in which Powell Creek swims. Seems like an epic waste of time to me...to pretend...being a hockey team...when you don't play against any hockey teams. You can't have a summit without a mountain, as far as I am concerned.

So now the week end is over and as some have said some teams NOW FINISHED for the year after playing a season plus play offs. And just this past week end the Regals just had a try out/training camp.
So after your try-outs and you saw what you had and didn't have and now know what you NEED to ADD. Can you tell us now who is playing or who is on the 36 man roster or do you need more time to find more/different players.
This is such a joke. No wonder you can't find teams to play you or want to bring you to play them. Wouldn't know what to post in the program cause not sure who or who isn't playing still.
I would like to hear Mr Frasers comment on this or is he on the roster of Powell River.
Here is my ad for the newspaper: Want to play AAA hockey next year in BC. and have a chance to go to the Allan Cup in Red Deer, Alberta all expenses paid. No games played during the season. Will have mini camp in March, play Fort St John "AT HOME" in a best of 5, win that off to the Allan Cup. Reply to: Wannawinaallancup
Wade ask the Generals if their game to move here. Rest up for the season. Oh don,t worry about the import rule this is BC. lol

I dont think anyone thinks the situation is ideal for any one.....but it is the current way things are......if you don't like it your argument isnt with the regals its with the league........no one would be happier i dont think than the regals to have teams to play on regular basis in a competitive league......and its no great advantage to have no game legs going into a provincial championship so theres somewhat of a tradeoff there.....and if there was no regals this year wouldnt someone else just get a bye to the next level anyway....but that would just give you something else to bitch about ....and i dont belive for a second any other team in the world let alone bentley would have a little oprah moment in the dressing room and decide....we just shouldn't do this boys...its just not right......bite me tadpole...go regals go

Don't get me wrong, all these guys have great backgrounds but if they haven't been real active in hockey for a while they have their work cut out for themselves for sure. Most Senior teams today tend to age out at an average 27 or 28 and this team as shown taps out at over 31. That's a fair bit for a team that is hardly ever playing, in my opinion.
