Yes, there will be some games where you might have to drag guys on a bus to get them to go play this weekend. But as a whole, the league playoffs didn't get decided until Game 25 of a 28 game season. Last year it was game 23 of a 24 game season. Not bad at all. And this final weekend we have a warmup for the Whitby/Orillia series and the battle for Home Ice in the 2/3 battle.
I know Pos will do his best to fill the bus.

media announced today we won't get to see a bunch of Blast players Friday night including moriarity for various reasons... I guess I'm going bowling with ronleee What a load of crap this is a planted comment to reduce fan interest in this Friday's Dundas game, an attempt to ensure the Blast fans won't follow the team its as easy to see through as a pain of glass. Th Blast will have all hands on Deck to gain home ice advantage rest assured. This post is a disrespectful to the players who work so hard to put on a great game. If Dundas ever stoop this low let me know. Regards Don Robertson

ACCORDING TO THE HOCKEYDB HES A D-MAN. THERE FOR HIS DEFENSE CAPABILITIES? MAYBE NOT AN OFFENSIVE D-MAN. 1 GOAL IN 17 YEARS!!! His defense capabilities? .........If you go back to Hockey DB, you will find that +/- is only shown for half of the line items listed, and of those shown zero are on the plus side. I can only tell you that during his two and a part seasons in Dundas he did not display much skill at either offense or defense. I would not deny that I had a few chuckles at some of his antics while in Dundas, but I also recall saying that based upon experience, his type of act rarely results in anything very good happening for all concerned. I am all for good hard hockey, have no problem with someone being legitimately held accountable. I have myself sometimes complained when a game is to soft. That has nothing to do with a guy wandering around acting like a thug on the prowl and looking to assault someone, anyone just because that person happens to be available, and in last Sunday's case also without warning and from behind. Perhaps a good fit for some league, some where, but that type of behavior should not be tolerated in Senior AAA IMO, and attempting to put more people in the seats by promoting and inciting such behavior should not be condoned or accepted either.

I am a little confused as to the Dundas fans ripping into Moriarity, who was a massive fan fave when he played in Valleytown. Man, I know as a Hornets fan, I was extremely envious of the McCoys having both Moriarity and Modopolous.

He was very good tonight and stick to hockey and only took his penalties when the game was lopsided. IMO, he can play an important role if disciplined.
Brantford's 4th line with him was buzzing all night and seemed tough to play against. If the team as a whole skates and uses their speed like they did early they will cause problems for Dundas.

where did minzie go? in one game with brantford gerald matched his carreer goal output - it looks like the brantford owner asked him to play hockey - to me his hckydb history says i don't think anybody else ever did - jim sounds like he could be an owner - minzie comes off like an unhappy fan little own well thought - i like the funny blast website too curtis

As a Blast fan, I hope Pitre was not out of the lineup for Dundas due to Moriarity's sucker punch in the back of the head...do any of you Dundas fans know?
