I HEARD A RUMOR TODAY THAT THE THUNDERHAWKS HAVE FOLDED? I WANTED TO KNOW IF ANYONE OUT THERE KNEW FOR SURE EITHER WAY. ITS SAD UP HERE LIKE IVE SAID BEFORE THERE ARE LIMITED GAMES TO WATCH AND NOW, MAYBE LESS. CAN THE KENORA THISTLES FIND ANYONE TO PLAY? IF ITS TRUE THEY FOLDED THEN THAT LEAVES KENORA TO PLAY SOUTHERN ONTARIO BY DEFAULT I GUESS? I MAY HAVE TO TRAVEL ALL THE WAY TO THE ALLAN CUP TO SEE A GAME!!

Hey thats really too bad. To have to play a triple A midget team to get in game shape cant be good, but at least its skating.
A trip to Saskatchewan doesn't sound so bad anyway kenora...

On Saturday Fort Frances indicated that they are folding. Still waiting for official confirmation from HNO that this is the case. Will keep you posted.

Fort Frances is done for this year. Lack of player committment and fiinacial issues. Hopefully next year they will be back. Very difficult to find teams to play makes it that much harder for the teams from HNO. As for Kenora we will keep plugging away continue to look for teams to play and get ready for the Renwick Cup April 6-8th.
