I see that the team Mark Jooris has been coaching in Tier 2 Junior A (Markham) was eliminated on Friday.
Anyone know if he will be joining the McCoys for the playoff run? Don't see him in today's lineup.

Thanks Tom. I did read that he had signed a card, but my question is "will he be playing"?
Over the last few years, many of the players that have signed cards with Dundas have not ended up playing. Last year was a good example - if the players signed to cards had actually played in the Allan Cup, I am very confident Dundas would have won the Allan Cup quite handily.
Wondering if anyone knows if he'll be suiting up in Dundas on Tuesday night?

Mark has a great history as a player. His record speaks for itself. But his time has passed. I think the reason Don signs these guys is that if, they make it to Allan Cup tourney he needs extra players since some of the guys don't turn up or may get injured. But IMO you need younger players, all of whom can show up in order to compete under CAHA rules. Seems Ontario is at a disadvantage. The trick to winning is to host the tourney. At least Brantford got it right. At what price, I don't know. maybe they made a boatload of $. Who knows.

Even if you sit him on the bench & put him out just for the PP...that would be an asset for any team...similiar to what Dundas did in the last year Todd Harvey played for them. As for the Allan that Brantford hosted...they certainly didn't make a boatload of $$$...fact is they were lucky to break even. With the payroll they had the year they won the Allan & the half empty civic center during the Allan...Ham was tapped dry.

i'm sure peter had a least 2 LARGE backers helping out, and of coarse their was cheesey quarterbacking the show.
