H.L played good in their dzone "again" H.L played with discipline "again". H.L domantated that game, if wasn't for some outstanding saves from Stoney goalie the game coulda been closer to 10-1. Once "again" shots mean nothing.. Weslosky played like he can,HL defense played great and the HL forwards out chanced theirs 2-1 maybe 3.. Looking forward to game 6, i think horse lake has another gear and tomorrow would be the time for it. If I was measuring goaltenders, Jase Weslosky in HL has a far better and longer track record than Wade Waters, who plays for the Innisfail Eagles and is just 22 yrs old.

Nothing in the game was major worthy. In fact, there were calls on hits that were clean, dont get me wrong there were some questionables. BUT Reffing was fair enough and that's all any team could ask for. 10 x better than game 4.. Let the teams decide this, as all hockey fans would appreciate..

Well if you were measuring goalies you would be crazy. Weslosky is hands down the better goalie.

Well if you were measuring goalies you would be crazy. Weslosky is hands down the better goalie. No question about it and Weslosky has shown that he's a major part of the reason the Gens got beat and is once again rising to the occasion. Not suggesting there isn't other thing the HL squad is doing, it's just that with a solid goaltendier they can trust, teams play with a different edge and no doubt Weslosky gives HL that edge.

Ya agree, gotta have a good goalie to go deep, brings alot of confidence to a team. I just wouldn't say he was "off his game" in 3 and 4. Was a combination missed assignments(dzone coverage) and p.p goals.. May have been expected that he would have bit of rust but, he still played well. He's that good.. Important H.L Sticks to what has been working. Play to their strength, which is defense and the goaltender is the last line. GO CHIEFS!
