Often the most notable participants of any tournament are the players. Unfortunatley, for the second straight spring, this may not be the case. After his embarassing and bold behavoir in Kenora, one of Saskatchewans' most notorious hockey personalities is making another appearance in SR hockeys' big show. Sheldon Dean...the same stripe shirted, cannon mouth who was special delivered to Kenora to call the final game last year has already made one notable impact in this years tournament. Before flaunting his MENSA talents to last nights' crowd...he and his big show were milling around the afternoon game letting everyone within ear shot knpow about how "letdown" they're feeling at the fact the Bentley Generals are not here this week. It would be way too much to ask o this immature, classless mouthpiece to put away his ego and let the teams decide the games. Along the lines of what he shouted out last spring...This is (now) "his" tournament and everyone will abide by his chaotic, ego fuelled dictation or risk confrontation with a clown who is devoid of both class and reason. Word to the wise...do not engage this headcase. And lets hope he is not scheduled to call the final game this time around.

I believe this is the same guy who warned Balgonie before one of the games against Rosetown that "this is my show!", because he had heard how physical and dirty at times the Bisons were.
What a tool!

Yep same guy who called Dean Filane 'His Bitch!' Still wondering why Allan Cup hockey puts up with these type of people ? May have to meet this Dean loser and set his 'Scene' straight so we never see him again !

poor dump ins and misplaced slapshops can fix a moron like The Scene. Im surprised there wasnt a player from any team whisper politely in his ear that it's "their' show...one on one of course.
Whether anyone is his bitch or not, for him to announce it out loud would be the issue.
Hopefully, some of the payments he receives had/has somebodies ass sweat all over the bills...

Its extremely disappointing to see he has been selected to call games at another Allan Cup.
His overall attitude and his actions in Kenora sickened me and many other people.
And then to bring up those bad memories only to read about another more recent incident, with another team, where he was saying almost the identical quotes to which he was spewing from his venomous yap hole last year...well...suffice to say I can feel confident folks reading this thread can now trust beyond the shadow of a doubt that this was NOT a case of a few bitter losers letting the outcome of last years' final game get the better of us.
This guy should never have been permitted back into a rink after the BS he pulled last year.
I mean...it could be forgivable if it were a 16 year old kid we were dealing with.
"The Scene" is not sixteen! He is supposed to be a mature, level headed adult placed into a position of trust in which his authority and integrity can be counted on.
Thats not the case with this ass clown and in my opinion...it would be best if he were told to pack up his gear and get out of town.
The tournament is inevitably going to get more and more intense as we go through the next few days.
This character shouldn't be a part of it.
