Ultimatley....this is going to be settled on the rink. We all know there are two sides to every story. I have no grudge against any of the people who left Bentley and went to Inny. I think its important to remember the time and passion everyone puts into this whole thing. Sometimes...its what unites us...and other times...it is that same passion that can undo allegiances once thought to be impervious.
It is what it is.
Ive chosen my side. Im just one of many who remain with the army...it doesnt make me any Better than those who made a different choice...it just makes the story a whole helluva lot more interesting.

I think CBC should send the Doc Zone crew to Alberta to do a proper 3 part series on this...would make for good TV.

I think CBC should send the Doc Zone crew to Alberta to do a proper 3 part series on this...would make for good TV. Sutter would love that. In fact...he's always been a media darling...with his hard ass personality exposed from all sides through rough language and aggresive talk...he is a great quote. Can't deny that. It would just be nice if the media (around here latley) would keep in mind there are two sides to every story and maybe the story that Sutter is telling is a bit "exaggerated" or "tainted" with the sour aftertaste of what went down. Its quite transparent...in my opinion...nonetheless...everyone is eager to egg him on. Whatever grabs an audience I suppose. Ive probably played that card a time or two myself.

I wish this guy from Big 105 would have gotten some names from Brian Sutter, He obviously is to much of a sutter fan or puppet to ever stand up to him, instead he just chooses to believe everything this has been says. I would suspect if he would have asked him for some names Sutter would have been lost for words. I honestly can not see any player leaving Bentley and a chance to win an Allan cup to play for a doormat of a team in Innisfail.

I would suspect if he would have asked him for some names Sutter would have been lost for words. I honestly can not see any player leaving Bentley and a chance to win an Allan cup to play for a doormat of a team in Innisfail. Agreed. The entire blog was handled very poorly. There was no effort made to double check on any of the comments. Matter of fact...I beileve Troy had to be corrected and brought up to speed from a few CHL vets regarding Carstairs and LBK not even being in the League anymore. Seems like he was in such a rush to get the hot and nasty trash talk splashed all over the internet that he forgot to think for himself about whether or not there was ANY actual TRUTH to what he was posting. The truth is... There will absolutley NOT be anything resembling a "mass exodus" from Bentley. On the contrary...I firmly believe anymore than TWO former Bentley players going to Inny would be highly unlikely. And even that might be a stretch. And as far as the Generals facing a "daunting task" in order to field "a worthy team" in the '13 Allan Cup??? Here again...a whole lot of talk and not much thought. Troy should know better. He has been to a few AC's and he has seen the proof...time and time again...of every single host team we've ever witnessed being...(AT LEAST)...worthy. In fact...most of the time...the HOST team is an automatic CHAMPIONSHIP CONTENDER...never mind needing to prove themselves worthy of just being in the tournament. Why would the Generals be any different than any of these teams? Troy doesn't take the time to attempt explaining this. Little wonder...its pure blather on his part. Not an iota of substance. Any-Hoo...Troy is the voice behind Sunny 94FM's live call of the Allan Cup win in 2009, actually. And I have always been thankful for his support of SR AAA hockey...so...its tough for me to take issue with a buddy and critique his work. Sometimes though...a guys' just gotta step up and tell the truth when everyone else is busy having a panic attack.

Brian Sutter has been an incompetent, classless jerkoff since his last go-round failed in the NHL. This latest episode should hardly be a surprise.

So I was Driving thru Bentley yesterday and witnessed a mass exodus, There was a covered wagon train packed up and leaving with a sign that said Innisfail or bust. Leading the pack each on a donkey was the brains, Jason Lenz, and the guy everyone calls Biggie... They were also leading a donkey, I am pretty sure it is for the fearless leader Brian Sutter. Hopefully they have enough booze in the wagon to make it.
Looks like thats was the only people on this so called mass exodus. Hopefully they make it in time for the season opener.

OK Allan 'aka' admiral, Should you wish for me to reveal anymore about who you are and your allegiances are really with, please continue with the Bentley vs Sutter bashing. If not then pull yourself away from the feed trough or computer screen and get some t^%%^!$ sold

Somewhere Pepperpot is choking on a big fat Crow Steak right now. The team he told us would "...not even make the playoffs this year..." just rolled right down mainstreet Innisfail and gunned down the "angrybirds" 7-1. The date everyone had circled on their calender was very well attended. The Eagles can at least take that much to the bank. And thats terrificto see. But The Army did exactly what they have (almost) always done in Innisfail. Big. Strong. Win. Suttsy's new squad will be a 'AA' force and they will be very tough in the ChHL this season, no doubt. But the Bentley Generals are just a higher calibre. Just like they should be. Whether Pepperpot can digest this or not...remains to be seen.

Nobody! Sutter was the one doing the calling of former players....not the other way around....and he didn't convince a single one of them to jump over to the Inny Eagles. Not one.
And that's not to say (most) of Sutters' players did not like playing for him. The guys I've talked to have mostly good things to say about Sutter.
However...They're reasons for playing in Bentley were far more than JUST Brian Sutter.
I think Suttsy was just pissed off and acting out. His focus should be on HIS team...not the Gens.
And with the way last weekend turned out for both sides of this new rivalry Id also say the Gens will be better now that the game with Inny is in the books. The Army can now focus on actual SR AAA hockey. The sideshow is sidelined for awhile now.
