Hopefully just the beginning...
Jay McKee, now Matthew Barnaby. With McKee as player- coach, which other ex-NHLers will McKee bring in for the Cup run at home in Dundas? Stay tuned all - will get interesting.
Article from tomorrow's Hamilton Spectator:
Former NHLer Matthew Barnaby joins Dundas Real McCoys
The Dundas Real McCoys just got a little more abrasive on the ice.
Former NHLer Matthew Barnaby -- owner of 2,562 penalty minutes in his career -- signed with the Senior AAA team Thursday morning. He will be in the team's lineup on opening night Nov. 8 in Brantford.
Barnaby is a former teammate of McCoys' defenceman and playing coach Jay McKee when they were both on the Buffalo Sabres.
Dundas will host the Allan Cup in April and receive an automatic entry into the tournament for the championship of Canadian senior hockey.

"Article from tomorrow's Hamilton Spectator" the day before!
I think that qualifies as a pretty good scoop. Nice going mlh01.

Kewl.
Barnaby was a better NHLer than he got credit for because of how much yapping he did after the whistle.

Kewl. Barnaby was a better NHLer than he got credit for because of how much yapping he did after the whistle. I agree...Barnaby was a quality player when he wanted to be...a real spark plug. I'm hearing some ridiculous names being thrown around re: who could be joining Dundas...could be a partial NHL team 4-5 yrs removed from the NHL. No joke.
