I noticed Ty Dittmers' name on a roster earlier this winter.
Not at all surprised to see SEPT has picked him up.

nice addition to the Thunder defense. Along with Bonni who has been at the exhibitions and the addition of Blake Forsyth I expect a much stronger D than the one that went to Sask. last year. Hopefully as hosts they will all be available in March. They will need all hands on deck to compete with what will undoubtedly be a very strong Sask. rep.

Is this the entire roster or does SEPT have more AP's not listed here?
I see a big chunk of this roster composed of players from Altona Maroons.
What about Jay Fehr? He's playing against Altona in the SEMHL League Final right now (Morden Red Skins)

EVERY YEAR ITS THE SAME GUESS AS TO WHO THEIR FINAL ROSTER IS UNTIL THEY PLAY. WITH LISTS HAVING TO BE IN AGES AGO SOMEONE HAS A LIST I ASSUME. KINDA LIKE "PRAIRIE NEWFIES" WITH NO ONE KNOWING WHOS PLAYING. SHOULD BE INTERESTING PLAYOFF BETWEEN THEM AND SASK. GUESSES ON WHO WINS THAT SERIES? IM PICKING SASK.

Regards Wade. To the best of my knowledge the only other AP not listed is Nick Cowan. I think they tried to sign Jay Fehr 2 years ago before they won the AC and he played in one exhibition game but as far as I know he just wasn't interested.

EVEN IF THATS THE ONLY OTHER ADD ON THEY STILL HAVE A GREAT ROSTER. TOO BAD BUT ID LIKE TO SEE BOTH SASK AND SEPT IN THE ALLAN CUP. SHAME. OK....THE NFLD BOYS TOO!

No guessing at all L.O.T.W. Other than the one omission which I just clarified the accurate roster has been posted for weeks.

Deebeegee,
Thanks for answering.
Are you following any of the Altona/Morden series?

As for picking a winner in this Rathgaber Cup...
I tend to lean towards HOST teams for these series.
The reason being...visiting teams typically plan poorly...travelling on game day(s), showing up with short benches and generally showing a lack of experience towards what it is they're trying to accomplish.
Who knows...Shellbrook might show up with 20 skaters + 2 goalies + an entire coaching/training staff the day BEFORE the series opens. If they DO...they'll enhance their own chances greatly.
If they don't...I won't be surprised and the Elks will learn lessons...
These series' are...in a way...decided in the first 2 games. What you do/how you play/how many skaters you've got/how much energy you've got left for games 3,4 and 5 boils down to how much of a head start you can grab by being the better prepared/experienced squad at the outset.

Game #2 in that series goes tonight but I haven't been able to get to a game yet. A couple of buddies are their tonight and they tell me it's 6-4 Morden after the first. Wow.

Regards Hockeyman. How's things? I'll just be going daily for the games. No holiday for this one. Gotta work to support my habits.
