Allan Cup being broad cast LIVE Kenora has informed me that TSN is broadcasting the game LIVE. Must have heard the bitching on the tape delay games the past few years Thats great news! Its only a matter of common sense & common courtesy to carry the game LIVE, or, not at all. With so many different ways for people at home to gain up to the second updates of the Final, a tape delayed broadcast doesn't do much for most folks.

will this be on TSN 1 or TSN2? too bad time got away on us and we were unable to live stream the games for everyone It would have been great if we could have streamed the games live for the fans for free! Afterall many fans have supported these teams all year long with ticket sales via attendance at the games and fund raisers ...the least the league could do is pay them back by allowing them the opportunity of seeing it through to the end right to the final game for the Allen Cup .... For that matter even the fans of teams who did not make the final round would want to watch the final.... At minimum the games leading up to the final could have been live streamed and the final telecast braodcast by TSN for every one else This would be especially important for family and friends who could not make the trip to Kenora.... Oh well...... :)may be next year.... Maybe the organizers could get a start on this added coverage before the start of next season. so we don't run out of time to get this set up and running ....

Don't know how good my information is, but for folks at home intending to watch the final game live, do your home work.
When I recently looked up my TV quide, it showed nothing at all on TSN, on or around game time. In the game time slot it shows Friday Night Fights. Perhaps they are pridicting something!
A friend looked up TSN 2, and I think he said it showed something around 5:00 p.m. or 6:00 P.M. EST. Kenora is only one hour difference and game time is at 3:00 p.m. Kenora so it don't look live to me.
Don't wish to sound negative or unappreciative but we all know what has happened in previous years with the telecast, so beware before you plan your game party.
Hopefully I've got it all wrong, in which case I apoligize.

Have not had the chance to watch the live streaming ....... is the live streaming worth the $6.99 price tag to watch... if it is, does this suggest that regular season games that are live streamed should also have this type of cost attached to it? How would you compare this to the live streaming of the Dunnies Vipers series that was free for fans?
Thanks

I checked last Sunday and it was still showing 4 PM Eastern on TSN not TSN2 They must have done a change sometime since then. We have been bumped for the Philadelphia Buffalo playoff game

We have watched 2 games on the internet stream and we feel it is worth the 6.99. Yesterday we hooked up to our big screen T.V. from the laptop and that was even better. The only down side is the black netting-I guess you have to look through that if you are at the arena too.

This rink uses 8' plexi-glass panels ALL AROUND and the netting is obvious overkill. Worse still...they HAD white netting and changed it to black just this year. I have no idea why. Its a challenge to track the puck...even if your sober.

To make a comment on the black netting, did they not switch to black netting in the NHL arenas because of the filming? The clear or white netting gives a glare on the cameras or something. Maybe when they were doing their upgrades they had the TSN game in mind and installed the black mesh?
