And I also assure you, there is no preference on opposition tomorrow. They'll be concentrating on themselves. Not the opponent. I hope

not saying they tanked...it is entirely possible, however, that they did not go 100% and saved some in the tank for tomorrow...and beyond.

Bentley didn't go all out....they are a successful team and expect to be playing 3 games in the next 3 days, including a friday match up with Dundas and their 2 days of rest....they don't mind playing Brantford in the quarter and were smart to not leave it all on the ice tonight...If they win the allan cup, it really doesn't matter if they went 2-0 or 0-2 in the round robin

I found this game very interesting. Bentley came out of the gate banging again, but in this case S.E. seemed to say that's fine but we have our own game plan. We will take some hits, we will negate or avoid a lot of others, strangely enough we will use some of our smaller guys to persitantly counter with some hits of their own to keep the Generals honest, and our bigger guys will use their experience to play some unflashy but very effective hockey. S.E. seemed to stick with that plan throughout and as time passed it became apparent the plan was working in this game. I'm not sure that in the begining I bought in, but as the game rolled on I became a believer that they knew what they doing.
For me over a number of years now, I have often said to myself upon first glance that S.E. doesn't really look to be as good as they actully are. It started back in Steinbach with their former captain who I initially self assessed as not looking like anything special to me. That was until I had a much closer look and realized how much I was fooling myself.
As far as Bentley is concerned in this tournament so far, they have not dominated as much as one might have anticipated. Also as historical stats do show, the schedule that they have now created for themselves, leaves them with a disadvantage and perhaps a bigger challange than surmounting Antler Hill.
The world will know soon enough. They have shown they can be beaten which is significant. This week is half way through. From here, you win you advance, you lose your done. To write them off would be so foolish it would defy logic. They won't be out until somebody puts them out, just like every other team in this tournament.

No matter what scenario unfolds, they cannot meet the McCoys on Friday. Only possible rematch against Dundas would be the Final on Saturday.

The easiest path to the final was created by Bentley. Dundas won't have to face the Caribous or Gennies until the Final. Plus, 2 days iff is absolutely huge. The table is set fr the home team to hoist the Cup.
Now...CARPE DIEM
I would love to see Dundas/Bftd semi

And once you miss your prey on the first shot...its tough to hit them when they're running.

They were a little short-stsffed, and were the 2nd best team in that game...not sure they are good enough. But, i a 1-game elimination, there are no absolutes.

I was in Red Deer for the the Bentley/Powell River Regals series and although the Regals did not score alot of goals in the series, I thought that the Bentley goaltending was their weakest link. I am surprised that the defending champs have not played very well so far at the AC. But only GREAT teams win on the road at the AC.

Great to see that former Powell River Regal player and Powell River Jr. Kings coach Jamie Leach is back at the AC coaching SEPT. Leach played a big part in the Regals 2006 AC Championship team.
