I've heard LBK was trying to get accepted into the BRHL. It seems like a practical solution. The Kings aren't ready for a CHL comeback.

The Generals are scheduled to partake in a collegiate level pre-season tournament with SAIT & RDC (among others) in about 2 weeks.
This will be a tall order for The Army to handle the speed & conditioning of 20-25ish year old athletes.
If they can hold their own...it might be considered an indication they've added youth, skill & speed to their revamped roster.

It would appear that the previously often heavily hyped program of the players coaching themselves has come to an end in Brantford.
Jeff McCormick, former Blast head coach of a few years ago and sometimes sidekick to Mike Posavad in Whitby & Norwood is returning as the man behind the bench in Brantford.
And speaking of Mike Posavad, last years Manager & Coach for the Whitby Dunlops, who appears to have now departed. I guess a reasonable question would be, will Mike resurface in Norwood for this upcoming season?

I never understood how that was supposed to work...no matter how tight the group is on and off the ice

Innisfail is rumoured to have Mark Bomersback recruited this year. Look him up. He might be the best player they've ever had...if they have him. It's always hard to see the line between fact & fiction over there.

Hearing rumblings in town that SEPT forward and 2012 tournament MVP Devin LEBLANC is heading to rosetown this year to play with his older brother Derek. Could be the spark that Derek needs as I know he was not happy with his year last winter. This could be a big signing for Rosetown if Devin can get back to the level he was at in 2012 and dominate the tournament again.
