Being that Clarenville is probably the most expensive destination to get to for an Allan Cup, what kind of allotment does each region receive from the host committee to help out with travel expenses?

Without complicating the answer with a bunch of facts...
I can tell you the allotment cheques will be signed based upon who yells & screams the loudest, followed a close 2nd by who does the best "Under-The-Desk-Monica".
This is one of those things that should be simple & honest. But it isn't.
The allotment is supposed to be derived from the initial expense pot...(required from HOST)...to be divided, not equally, but reasonably among travelling teams.
This year...GFW should get next to nothing. That should increase the pot for the other 4 teams and coverage for the farthest travelling team should be taken care of ahead of all others, IMO.

WOULD THE TEAM FROM SASK/MANITOBA SERIES NOT BE ABOUT THE SAME TRAVEL $ WISE?
FOR THAT MATTER IF KENORA WINS THE ONTARIO PLAYOFF THEIRS WOULD BE ABOUT THE SAME? ASSUMING THEY PLAY IN THE RENWICK?
OR WADE, SHOULD BENTLEY JUST GET MOST OF THE TRAVEL $?

West Jet flights from YYC to Newfoundland are running about 1800-2200 right now.
Unless Hockey Alberta had the foresight to buy 30 tickets a few months ago...rather than wait til the last minute...The Alberta flight is going to run somewhere around 60,000-70,000 bucks.
I have no idea how that compares to other possible flight arrangements.

Kenora will fly for cheap...if they go.
Most of their players are from GTA. AFAN you can probably cover the whole shibang with your Air Miles.

SHA gets a bit more than Hockey Man. Kenora and Hockey Man . should be similar as they would both fly out of Wpg.

Just so you know if Kenora was to advance to the Allan Cup the price for 19 players and coaches out of Winnipeg would be $1500.00 a piece. Add another $1350.00 each for 4 players out of Thunder Bay. 4 out of Toronto for lets say $1000.00 each would cost a total of $37,900.00. Add 3 players from Moncton and flights alone are $40,000.00 plus total for Kenora. Then add in 15 rooms x 7 nights at lets saw $150.00 a night for another $16,000.00. $60,000.00 so far, then add pre game meals and per diems for food on to that. The long and short of it is that the teams advancing to the Allan Cup this year better have deep pockets. The only one making money will be the host team. The rest will be in the deep red with the exception of the 2 previously declared teams from the East. IMO how's that Wade. (Based on 6 Bench staff 24 players).

Pretty sure Hockey Canada promised Newfoundland an Allan Cup as part of the sweetheart deal used to entice them into SR AAA...and I'm also pretty sure it's been a raw deal right from day one in the eyes of everyone else.
When Quebec backed out...Hockey Canada should have automatically reverted back to the 4 team tournament format.
Trying to run the 6 team field...by using the ATL branch as an auto-entrant each season...is incredibly expensive in years when ATL travels and 6 times worse with them hosting.
This might be the last year for them. We will have to see what happens this summer.
It might be too late for everyone else.
I predict we lose a couple more teams this summer. And as was mentioned in the post previous to mine....it's gonna put everyone DEEP in the red,'for sure.
