Just checking on Pointstreak the lineups. I noticed under Dundas #24 Ryan Christie. Would be a great boost for the McCoys.

Crucial game for these teams. The outcome will shape the pool standings and have a big effect on scheduling.
Too bad I'm missing opening day.
I think GFW will put a dent in the defending champs today.
Anything less would be a MAJOR swing for the entire tournament.

Yikes.
Dundas trots onto the rink with 13 skaters. GFW takes the signal and they've peppered nearly 50 SOG on Mike Mole barely past half-way through the game.
The Cats have come to play.

Holy shit!
I hope the local shot-counter is a homer. GFW gets 50 SOG on Mike Mole...after only 40 minutes of play.

if Pointstreak is correct, and Dundas only have 12-13 skaters, that is a travesty.

Started game with 13.
Foreman left after blocking a shot early in the 2nd period & they've been going with 12 ever since.

Shot clock heading for the big 7-0.
Dundas plays again in 24HRS.
Mike Mole might need a garden hose stuck down his throat while he sleeps to replenish the fluids.

if Pointstreak is correct, and Dundas only have 12-13 skaters, that is a travesty. Dundas playing with 3 defence - Jeff White, Derek Matheson and Ryan Moore. Greg Stewart had to work. Darryl Smith out for the year (back/ribs) + 3 others out with season ending injuries. That leaves 5-6 who could have made it: Not sure why Dalmao, Mangos, Brett Smith, Ennaffati, Guindon and Kokotailo aren't there. Haven't seen Brett Smith in weeks actually. Foreman is hurt so who knows they may be down to 12 skaters.

FOR MONTHS EVERYONE ON HERE TALKED ABOUT TEAMS FROM HERE AND THERE ONLY HAVING 13 OR 14 SKATERS. AND THOSE WERE ONLY REGULAR SEASON GAMES AND THE ODD LEAGUE PLAYOFFS. FOR DUNDAS TO SHOW UP OPENING DAY WITH ONLY 12 SKATERS IS VERY VERY EMBARRASSING. WHY? SHOULDA LET ANOTHER REP FROM YOUR LEAGUE GO WHEN THIS BECAME KNOWN. SAD!

Now Lapointe is booted from the game for Checking to the Head.
Amolezing goaltending. It's "only" 5-3 GFW.
