All the provincial playoff series are update on the Allan Cup page Go to allancup.ca and click on the provinces in the left menu 1 Lacombe Generals no longer play at AAA level. The only two teams out of Pacific Region are Innisfail and Stony Plain Plain They are currently playing a 7 game series to decide who goes to Cup as Pacific Rep 2 Rosetown is the lone Saskatchewan team and host the Manitoba Champ with winner of that weekend series going to Cup as Western Rep 3 Even though Dundas and Hamilton are in Cup the league championship is still played to declare a league champion There is also the matter of the 6th spot in the Cup. I am told Whitby and Brantford must win the league to earn that spot in the Allan Cup If they don’t then it is probable the 6th spot goes to Saskatchewan/Manitoba which would mean Rosetown and the Manitoba champion advance to Allan Cup No idea on entertainment

I am making the trip from NL, even without a team from here, I would like to know which rink the championship will be played in ? for hotel purposes, will miss half the games if in another rink, That's a question no one seems to have an answer to. See you then at the Allan Cup. I'll be the Blast fan there with the cowbell Why would they be assuming that Blast will be at the Cup Also they are selling ticket packages to all 11 games so they would have to be staggered enough to give You at mininum 30 minutes to get out of one game into your car , 20 min drive to one rink and the walk from parking to your seat for second game 6 and 9 would be more likely

In the 2019 Cup in Alberta the Spot end up going to Sask/Man This meant that there was no need for Manitoba having to travel to Saskatchewan for the Rathgaber Cup
This was likely the plan this year as well but you have two host teams that get into the Cup and you cant very well deny the Ontario Champion a spot in the Cup if Whitby or Brantford win it
If Brantford or Whitby dont win then it likely goes to Saskatchewan/Manitoba which would mean there is no need for Manitoba to playoff against Rosetown.
Rosetown would advance directly to the Cup and the other spot would be the Manitoba champ of either Norway House or South East That playoff series starts Feb 29 with South East making the 9 hour trip North to Norway House

Thanks I had taken the game time from the Dundas webpage which was showing 7:30 I have corrected to 8PM
As it stands right now Brantford or Whitby have to win Ontario to get into Allan Cup If not there is no logical choice other than giving it to Sask/Man which would negate the need for Manitoba champ having to travel to Rosetown Saskatchewan

I may have made a mistake in assuming that Quebecs spot is going to Ontario
In the past the spot has almost always gone to the host branch but last year was an exception in that instead of giving it to host branch Alberta which would have meant almost the entire league was in the cup it was given to Man/Sask negating the need for an inter provincial playoff between Man and Sask
If i had to guess, and its only a guess the only way that Brantford or Whitby gets into the Cup is by winning the Ontario Championship If they dont win the spot goes to Sask/Man and Rosetown goes to the Cup directly and the other spot will be the Manitoba Champion of either South East or Norway House
Again this is only speculation
