This was a tight checking hockey game in the first two periods and Fort Sask tilted the ice in the third and we seemed to be hemmed in our end. The Chiefs outshot the Admirals 51-24 but Admirals goalie Ramstead played extremely well tonight. Affiliate player Tim Green played tonight and did a very good job stepping into the lineup and helping the team out. We've definitely dug a hole for ourselves but a good team meeting some video work over the next couple of days and we will be as prepared as we can be for Friday night back in Fort Sask.

Mr. Stephens will need more than "some video work" in order to really compete at the 'AAA' level in Alberta. He has been 'pretending' rather than contending all season long. He has yet to realize that playoff season is just a little different than regular season. I guess he didn't pay Carter to make road trips, can't see it being the Fort. Sask. flu, or maybe he's had enough of The Penguin and his long winded team meetings.

It's funny how you get a new team and people around that team doing what they can to build something and everyone tries to tear it down. Has the coaches or management of this team ever made bold statements of being the team to beat or a force in the league? Not that I can recall but what the team has tried to do is continue to grow and build a team that is sustainable for the long term and not just come in for a season or two and be gone. Funny you would mention Carter not making the trip as he wanted to but for those that don't know him he's a banker and it's the last week of RRSP season he was kinda busy for a Tuesday game in Fort Sask is all. But hey way to make some unsubstantiated comment trying to make the team look bad.

Well Stephens, you certainly will need more people other than good ole 'Pops' to build anything that is remotely big enough to tear down ! I'm sure everyone hopes you can keep your group of leftovers sustainable for more than a season or two. I'll speak with Mr. Carter about the unsubstantiated money that has maybe become more like 'unsustainable' for you and your sinking ship !

And here I was just commenting to someone on how quiet and civilized it seemed to be in here. If you think a team sucks i will allow constructive criticism but please refrain from any personal attacks
With the Senior AAA teams down to 19 across the country every team deserves respect for making an attempt to keep a team at this level of competition

Doug, do you think you can make an exemption for the Ontario board? Otherwise I fear it will remain dead forever. ;D
