Blastguest, please read again what I wrote -- not everyone in Brantford thinks like that. No mention was made that it was most Blast fans. After 2014, I feel the rivalry has not been the same between the Blast and Dundas. It's still there but not as intense. But you are entitled to your opinion as I am entitled to mine. Way to put your foot down cbg. Pretty hard to misinterpret what you clearly wrote and meant.

Hard to bet against the host team...it is always a huge advantage, plus they have a very deep, talented and successful squad.
I think perhaps a SEPT vs GFW final...with the hots winning the first b2b titles in several decades....since the Warroad Lakers dynasty of the mid-90's

Allan cup final will feature the SEPT and the Generals. Which Generals team depends on who comes from Stoney Creek. If they show up with their team that won ontario SEPT wins in OT. If Stoney Creek shows up only a portion of their squad then the final will be SEPT 3, Laco..... er Bentley Generals 1

Southeast well rested and at home will defeat Bentley in the final , last year Bentley only managed 13 or 14 shots and southeast will have Crowley this year , I also predict wade will get punched out at some point during the week.

Not sure why someone being "well rested" would be a consideration going into the tournament?
GFW will have the least amount of time between games...at 9-ish days.
Everyone else has been sitting for about 2 weeks.
As for me "getting punched out"...not the first time I've been threatened on a chat forum. Funny thing is...every single tournament I've attended the biggest problem I have is keeping track of who bought my last beer so I can return the gesture.
Meeting me face to face doesn't change my opinions. I think 99% of adults figure this out fairly quickly and I won't be making any apologies to the other 1%.

wade was recently on another thread claiming Bonni and Yake have low mileage and that it was an advantage for southeast , now he says it will not be an advantage unreal. and I wasn't threatening you

I don't see any reason why this year would be an exception to the rule: The HOST team is always the favorite.
It's no secret GFW, Stony Creek and Bentley are also excepted to be strong. Looking at Shellbrook & IDC rosters...they both appear to have enough talent to be able to compete in this tournament.
Just a matter of sorting out the daily ambiguities of a short tournament. Nobody has a perfect situation placed in front of them next week...but...it's traditionally pretty close to that for the HOST.

wade was recently on another thread claiming Bonni and Yake have low mileage and that it was an advantage for southeast , now he says it will not be an advantage unreal. and I wasn't threatening you The point I was SUGGESTING in the other thread was...SEPT have some key players with incomparable amounts of pro experience which might explain how those players are able to navigate AC tournament play w/o playing games all winter. It was speculation on my part. Im not sure how you got confused by this, Tom? It seemed straightforward.

The biggest advantage Manitoba has is that they have no league , as long as teams like Bently sighn away our best players like Bagnall for example , we will never have a league , therefore with no league mb will always have a well rested provincial all star team to attend the national championship
