Wow! Huge arms race in Ontario! Will be a good season and could be better if a few top Blast players end up playing. Steelhawks with a good offseason have signed former NHLer Chris Stewart and callup Andre Deveaux who with his size should be a notable addition. I wouldn't be surprised to also see Chris' Brother Anthony another former NHLer sign too. Both Stewarts are in their early 30s and have recently played. Generals have signed former NHL dman Chris Campoli. Quiet offseason from Dundas thus far but I'm sure Don is up to something. The same Deveaux who played with the Leafs & Rangers for a bit?

I haven't had the chance to see any senior games here in New Brunswick, however, I've been keeping tabs on the Haut-Madawaska Panthers. The Panthers are 15-2-1 in the Circuit Régional de Hockey. You can find information and stats on the league website here Here. Most of it is in French, but there's some English on there too.

I think the plan was that Stoney Plain was going to play Innisfail in a separate Allan Cup playoff with the winner advancing to Allan Cup This series has not been announced yet as there has been no announced decision on whether Alberta is keeping Quebecs spot after Kelowna quit

Nice story in today's paper regarding Chris Campoli. Former NHL defender Chris Campoli back on the ice with Stoney Creek Generals
