Its been a long, long time since the Bentley Generals were in a situation where they were facing truly steep odds....but...that's exactly the case in this game.
I don't know how many allies we've got out there. I am sure a lot of fans want to see the defending champs knocked out.
This Atlantic ALL STAR team is stacked and well rested. They've also got the best goalie in the tournament.
Gawd I'd love to see the old war machine pull this out!

With luck, I will be at the game this afternoon. Last time I saw Bentley play was last year on tv for the Allan Cup. Very impressed with Clarenville. And being a Blast fan, I can relax a bit at the game.

I see clarenville is up 4 to 1. Is the game better then the scores shows Good game. But Clarenville is definitely the higher skilled team. Big D and fast forwards. South East would have given the Nfld team a much better game. They matched up better with quicker forwards.

Thanks mlh01. Clarenville is going to be hard to beat this year..whoever plays in the final I expect to be a hard hitting and fast game.

Well...we had an early lead.
Playing our 4rth game in as many days...of course the team is going to look slow. And of course the remedy for that is to try & trap.
Not sure what happened in the 2nd.
Gens held the NLSHL to just 8-9 SOG's but at the end of the period...The Army was buried under a 4-1 pile.
As I type this...I read another tweet showing Churchill stopped (another) breakaway.
Sigh.
The breaks & bounces of the big games...make me old before my time.
Even when Im sitting at home on the lappy. Haha

Not fishing for a rotten boot. Was just wondering why they were benched...but wade be honest the better team won today. Maybe if they played again Bentley might win...just get them next year in clarenville I will be there to watch all the games then. Best of luck next year

Best of luck next year I have a philosophical side to me...but...I don't bother with cliches' like "The better team won". There was a game played. We lost. Clearly the other team was better on this day and that's all that matters. Its simple.
