The BC Hockey Hall of Fame as announced that the 1996-97 Powell River Regals will be inducted in to the BC Hockey Hall of Fame. Regals are well know in hockey circles, winning three AAA Allan Championships. The team has also won many BC Coy Cup AA Championships over the years. The Green and Gold have represented Canada at international tournaments in The United Stats, Holland, Japan and Belarus. They have also hosted teams from Russia and Japan. The event will held in Penticton at the South Okanagan Event Center in July. That's pretty cool!

Generals lose again!!!! Wade that D better shape up. Again? If we combined all Army losses in the last 10 years we wouldn't have enough to make a sandwich. Settle down. I... I don't get it haha

Heard the host is looking at adding JS Gigeure and Vinny Lecavalier. Interesting rumour.

Not having a link on the Senior Leagues websites' is ridiculous in this age of social media. The leagues are avoiding free publicity. The more people are talking senior hockey, the more fans will attend games. It's not Rocket Science. To the moderator>>have you approached the leagues and asked for a tab to your board? I'm sure the more hits you get, the better. I would also consider not limiting it to just AAA leagues. There's 3-4 senior AA/A leagues in Alberta alone. More people, more discussion the better.

Rosetown would win this league. They also should win the allan cup They look really good. I'll give them that! They took down Lacombe handidly and then went to OT with Innisfail.

ACH rules are idiotic 5 plus game...plus the 2 infractions you mentioned Max 3 fights...then you get 2 game suspension its ridiculous...and misconducts and suspensions for 'aggressor', 'inciting an opponent', etc. hitting has basically been outlawed as well...the ACH 'fair play, everybody gets a participation medal rules are really ANNOYING. That's the same here, 3 fights then suspensions. Hitting is still very much alive and well out here though. Some one crunches in games I've seen!

what is penalty for fighting in the CHL? 5 and a game plus what? 5 + GM. One extra game if in the last 10min. Also, if you're the second fight on the play it's a game extra. So, in the case this passed weekend, looks like there will be a few suspensions as there was a multi fight stoppage with a few min to go. What about the ACH? Same rules apply i'd assume since it's hockey Canada that made those. I'd personally like to see the two fight rule back. Eliminate a lot of the stick work and face washing!

Pretty quiet on this message board. How are things going in the Chinook Hockey League this season? Wade seems pretty quiet these days. No current news on Van. Heat. The Cheifs beat Stony Plain last night. Szabados made her first start and played impressive by all accounts. The Generals beat Innisfail Friday in a fight filled game.

Why are you bringing up the registration deadline Both Powell River and West Coast were on the list sent out by Hockey Canada of AAA teams I would assume they have paid their registration money but more than one team has done that and then pulled out Where can one see said list?

So, no BC challenger? CHL playoff winner goes straight to NB? I haven't actually confirmed this with anyone...but...seems pretty obvious at this point. Looks that way huh. Wasn't sure if Powell had a team or anything.
