The Cambridge team needs Gord Chaplin for his experience, class and deep pockets. The league has never been the same since his departure. Does anyone really think Ham or Robertson will just give up the quality players they have recruited from Hornets country.

Perhaps it was deep pockets that led to a problem in the first place. It's unfortunate, but when you fold your tent and give up your ice time, then you or the next guy sometimes just has to line up in the queue with the rest of the good folks out there and take whatever ice time you can get, at least for the time being. Don't discount that the new gentleman coming in to back the team, won't also possess some of the attributes that you have mentioned. Also, I understand that there has been a drive to secure interested volunteers. I'd be surprised if jimc wasn't one of the first to step forward, complementing those attributes and additionally providing local participation.

The Hornets and Hawks long co-existed at Shade St. Unfortunately, the Friday ice is now Travel (Midget, maybe) ice and the city has refused to make it available as CMH now have some seniority.
Munzie, thanks but no thanks...It used to be a real passion of mine, but that died years ago, sadly.
Bill, between the Cowboys and Habs this year, that's a full time job!!!
