Nice pole you really think that the tight wad owner will get off his wallet for something like that he needs all his money to pay his high price players

Tom, both Hockey Canada and the OHA consider the WOAA an outlaw league, and have introduced sanctions against towns/arenas who host these teams...it is bullshit.

What I meant by an outlaw league is that they are not under the Hockey Canada banner and aren't not recognized by them as true senior squads. They are ineligible for the Allan Cup unless they move operations to the Allan Cup league or whatever it is called now.

jimc i dont want to cause a fight but in the sense that GMHL ia an outlaw league the WOAA is not in same category. A player under HC rules can sign a WOAA card and still sign a HC card. but a player who signs a HC card is suppose to be ineligibile for WOAA play. Also once you sign a GMHL card in a season you can't play inan OHF sanctioned league. Ryan Stephenson can play for the Brantford Blast with open arms as I read the rules. Also the WOAA is not an outlaw league because of its long standing relationship with OMHA.

I know I read something from a Hockey Canada AGM saying the WOAA is considered an outlaw league. Whether players can move freely one way or not. Not disputing that, just disputing someone saying the teams are affiliates.

Tom If thats the case, then the rest of the teams should be utilizing what ever players want to sign for better or worse!! There has to be at least 3 teams worth of good AAA senior players in that league. Whether this is a fact or not, and i wouldnt dispute ole Snoop dog cuz i think he has/had some ex Crushers playing for him Mundy, shoebridge etc, so he has been scouting the woaa for a while now;) But every team should take advantage of this rule...why not! Stephenson is a good player and "will" make a difference for the blast moving into playoffs.

Hey WHO writes the info for the Grand Falls-Winndsor Cataracts on the Allan Cup Site? Hey whats wrong with you. Got something on with the Caribous? That was an awesome Allan Cup WIN. they beat a great club from Bently. The Generals threw the Kithchen sink at the Caribous from Clarenville, "and they survived"!! Matter of fact they beat that Club and they were the Team to beat. I fell alittle animosity in the short factuall way they discribe an Allan Cup win . Lame I've seen most in the last 20 years and that was a good one. Hope this team comming has that kind of teammanship. To bad you wern't their to hear the words from the losing coach to the Clairenville players. Oh yea, Bently looking good again. A great battle going on again in Alberta, it is playoff time though? Hockey up
