Rumours at rink tonight that Dundas awarded 2023 Allan Cup. 4 team round robin instead of the six team format used in last 10+ Cups. Will start weekend of April 15. All games in Dundas.
Hoping announcement next week.

That would be great; I wonder what the Quaiyfing format would be. I assume Alberta Champion, Ontario Champion, and Dundas, Who will get the 4th spot

I assume Alberta Champion, Ontario Champion, and Dundas, Who will get the 4th spot I am suprised that at least a couple of teams haven't tried to register as AAA especially out of either New Brunswick or Saskatchewan (with fairly stable teams) or even the EOSHL or WOSHL (for a short trip to the tournament).

No word on that out here in the west. Only rumblings around here is that dates and ice is still looking to be booked for the tournament.
If there is truth to the above comments. It likely would be Dundas, Alberta, Ontario 2, and a mystery fourth. Only problem is where that 4 comes from.

My guess the fourth team could be Elsipogtog out of New Brunswick, if not, what will likely happen is they will send two teams from Alberta and two from Ontario.

You are both right. Two scenarios that could happen.
Most likely I’m hearing is 2 Alberta teams, Dundas and league winner in Ontario
Outside chance team from New Brunswick. But most likely is 2 Alberta teams; 2 Ontario teams.
It’s a start to get Senior hockey back.
99% there I’m hearing. Easter weekend final.
Stay tuned.

Hearing one of the teams in alberta has backed out of the tournament. Looks like option B is now on the table, whatever that may be for the committee

One of the Eagles or the winless team? Cremona opted out of the playoffs.

Just finalizing the details, however this years rendition is a go. HC confirmed with its member associations earlier today. Will contribute more as I hear more info trickle down

Does Stony jump on board now? or only Innisfail from the west?

Yes it’s confirmed. Allan Cup in Dundas 2023. Also likely in Dundas for 2024. McCoys have kept Senior hockey alive and hearing tonight Hockey Canada will give Allan Cup to Dundas two straight years. Well deserved
Two teams from Alberta. Dundas as host. Fourth team will be either Wentworth or Hamilton.
ACH playoffs start next week. Hamilton, Wentworth and Dundas. Round Robin, home and home. Six games total. Winner to Allan Cup
