To all, I started a similar thread after last season and it was updated from across the country throughout the '14-15 season. Hope to find all info regarding Senior hockey in Canada throughout the summer for next season 2015-16 as well. Please list any new teams that are planning to enter AAA, any new leagues (here's hoping), etc. And of course all rumours!
To start:
British Columbia - will Powell River declare AAA with the Cup in the West? Fort St Jean perhaps? Hopefully poster "Powell river", "Miffer" and others will keep us up to date.
Alberta: 5 teams for '15-16? Wade keep us up to date.
Saskatchewan: hopefully more than just Rosetown in AAA. So many teams - 80 Senior AA I believe. "Sask", Rudsy32 and others please post updates.
Manitoba: Hosting. Interesting - will many others declare AAA. Cost is minimal when Allan Cup is at home. Posters: deebeegee, jingjang, mbfan
Northern Ontario: Same as Manitoba. With Cup so close, will Fort Frances, Thunder Bay possibly declare? Posters: Bryan, Kenorathistles, AFAN (all caps) haha
Quebec - anyone please update if Senior AAA in plans for next season
Newfoundland - looks like Grand Falls Windsor is coming to Allan Cup. Will they be only AAA team? Will the Avalon league be improved with new rules. Posters: catsfan200, Caribous Insider, dexterbaggs, geoguy, silverhawk, etc - please keep the updates coming on this thread.
New Brunswick/Maritimes - will Lemeque declare or was Maritimes entry a one shot deal. Posters: NESHL fan, Vikings,
Ontario: Last but not least. Don mentioned earlier that there will be an ACH announcement that fans would like if my memory serves me correctly. New team(s)? Many regular Ontario posters who hopefully will keep us updated: mlh01 (me
, jimc, munzie, sniper, naitch2727, joesnugg, cowbellgal, McCoysfan...and of course the best source for ACH information - Don Robertson.
Almost forgot: WOAA - any updates about the Ontario outlaw league joining OHA would add to the thread.
Keep the updates coming guys. Would be great for the first time in a long time to have Senior AAA increase in terms of # of teams. I remember just 10 years ago there were 32 AAA teams. Now down to 17-18.
