I guess when the official rosters are released to the competing teams on Monday we will see what everyone has.I know the Cataracts only have 4-5 first time branch to branches.

I might as well stop beating around the Bush here...I was looking at all the rosters and checking to see there stats.. and I seen 10- 12 players on the Stoney Creek Generals who played outside their province according to Eliteprospect.com. I thought they would be considered Imports if they needed Transfers back from there last teams in 2016. I could be wrong.. but with the debacle last year in Steinbach, I would not want to see that happen again. It may have cost my Cataracts a berth into the Allan Cup finals.

What about players that play Pro outside of their Provincial jurisdiction? If they come back to play Senior AAA are they considered imports?

Does player X need a transfer from Quebec to play in what ever league he is going to? Weather it is Amateur or Pro?

To avoid the debacle of what happened in Steinbach last April, could someone please explain what actually is an Import. It was my understanding that it is a player that is transferred from one branch to another? is that correct. IE. Player X is from Quebec and is playing in Ontario in 2016 and goes back to Quebec in 2017....is he then considered an import?

I think it's a 4 way race for the 4 returning teams...with the Cataracts a little deeper up front and on the back end and Stoney Creek MUCH improved...and we all know that Bentley (LACOMBE) and the SEPT are two of the top AAA teams in Canada. I am interested in what type of teams will come from N.B. They have added Mitts to there line up in Asham and Brashear...according to there local paper's anyway. Not sure what to expect really.

Video supplied by Bell TV1 as scooter said. Play by play provided by George Scott. For those of you who have never heard George...he calls a great game. Very professional.
