No there isn't. But he doesn't need to use his stick as an axe. I've seen him drop opponents, 20-50LBS bigger than him with straight-up, honest bodily contact. He feeds off this when he's "on". he could be as tough as Bob Probert, but when he acts like Paul Bunyan, he deserves to be called out for it...that was AWFUL.How tough he cold be is kind of irrelevant..and, honestly, if he is that tough, its an even bigger travesty, that he resorted to such a cowardly attack. Luke Gallant took 8 stitches for that. Gallant was also slashed very hard by Sheen on his hands, Luckily it caught most of the padding on his glove.

You are dead on Wade. Magee was an treat to watch. But my assessment of him is he is not a team player. His body language tells all when his teammates don't give him the biscuit. And I also think the Refs pick up something on him and sheen early in the tournament and they never got the calls they were "Selling".

Might not be the case in the past..better yet in never got checked. But the B-37 in supposed to be the same as an affiliate. Come from a lower league.
Anyway, That is a elreavent. The teams that played today will decide who is the best team in the country tomorrow afternoon.

There is a difference between manipulating and Force fed rules that are not of Hockey Canada. The league does not agree with most of what Hockey NL forces upon them. But in order to play for the Herder Championship and Allan Cup we have to play by there made up rules.

I would assume the officials will take care of those individuals rather quickly. Any idea how many Fighting majors Foran had this season?

The Import rule is a rule forced on by HNL.

With great respect Don..Hockey Newfoundland and Labrador restricts the Central west hockey league to 2 imports. How many can your Real McCoy's sign in a single season?
But when we go, we bring a full team not unlike 2015 when your McCoy's showed up with half a team and the SEPT flew half a team in for the playoffs...that's not fair to the fans that pay to watch and the host teams committee for there time they put in to put this event off.

I would think so, he is not listed on their roster or list of inactive players.

I'm expecting a 4-6 goal swing in the the first game between Lameque and Stony Creek...and please don't ask in which favor. Goaltending has to be at a premium in this tournament. If you don't have a STAR TENDER..your up the Miramichi without a paddle.

I love the look of this roster. More Allan Cup experience with the addition of Matt Stephanision. Deeper on the back end with the additions of Tyler Sloan and Brandon Roach. And added speed in Matt Bragg, Travis Randell and Stephen Simms.
Alot of AUS alumni on this roster for the Cataracts as they Represent Atlantic Canada next week in Boutouche.

I assume college/University is considered Amateur? And what about international transfers are they considered an "import"?
